  1. @Ddaloose Poweramp player and Poweramp Equalizer are separate apps and Poweramp player doesn't modify 3rd party player audio, nor it has DUMP permission. As for Poweramp Equalizer - what player do you want to equalize? Thanks!
  2. @goniskrip poweramp.maxmpz@gmail.com
  3. The last build on forum/Play (976) is up-to-date. 3rd party stores may have higher build numbers, but these include specific changes for that stores only which can't go into Play build anyway (Play doesn't generally allow 3rd party payment systems/app stores libraries). And we can't keep the same build number as on Play as otherwise users will never get these (often important for that store) updates from those stores. For example, Huawei AppGallery build has specific AppGallery related code. You don't really want this code in your general build (it talks back to Chinese Huawei servers), but it's probably ok for Huawei users.
  4. @Honk thanks for the request. Poweramp supports playing online streams, which can be in any format, including flac, as for direct intents with urls, how exactly do you get them - what app do you use to initiate such intent? Thanks!
  5. @Stefan74 not sure how exactly volume is implemented in your head unit, but for any issue related to volume, I would start with disabling Poweramp DVC (Settings / Audio / Direct Volume Control) as the DVC relies heavily on the correct and Android-CTS-compliant volume implementation. Disabled DVC will result in the reduced dynamic range (means bass will start to overload output earlier) - that can be compensated by applying appropriate negative Preamp. Thanks!
  6. @ShejtanVrbaski from the app side - it's either no enough CPU for Poweramp process or the bluetooth buffer not being big enough. For the first - see dontkillmyapp.com, the latter can be adjusted with Audio Buffer option for the active Poweramp output (but it's indication of the BT problems as default values are large enough). If tweaking these doesn't help - the problem lies outside of the player.
  7. @Richard Robertson if this issue persists, I guess some kind of filter option can be added so we can filter these unwanted BT commands from execution. Thanks for the investigation!
  8. If no any pause/resume commands appear in "Last Processed Commands" log (that can be searched for in Poweramp Settings), then it's something with audio subsystem or obvious lack of cpu or background thread state applied to Poweramp.
  9. @Dryst tested Pano scrobbler (last.fm login, Android 13 @ Samsung), works fine for me. It won't work if it's killed, though, so it requires appropriate (https://dontkillmyapp.com) permissions given to be in background.
  10. @MotleyG that only possible with the attached DACs (at least in form of some hi-res USB-dongle) preferable with the hardware volume control. Also it will work for some DAPs. Not possible for standard Android outputs (3.5/normal dongles/BT) anyway. Nevertheless this feature is planned, though, based on experience with other Android players supporting USB DACs, it will never work for all of them (USB DACs).
  11. @oweng what is the used output and output device? Does this reproduce only in Poweramp? Could you please make a screenshot of Audio Info from Poweramp (scrolled to bottom). Thanks!
  12. @Fitzian some tagging formats support that, but not the "covr" atom in m4a/mp4. By convention 1st image is front.
  13. Poweramp selects mp4 image based on image size. Unfortunately, tracks in the wild often have very low quality as first image if multiple images are embedded, this is why this approach as chosen. Also, there is no notion of front, back, or leaflet images for the format (there is no standard on "covr" atom at all) - just a list of images is there which we must interpret one way or another. Also, this logic was slightly modified to choose first image if it's size is large enough (50kb).
  14. Next Poweramp build is going to include support for .mod, .xm, .s3m, .it, and .mptm playback. Thanks for the request!
  15. The next Poweramp beta will include support for xHE-AAC, but it's supported via the Android system codec, meaning if device has no such codec in firmware, track still is skipped. Androids 9+ usually have it.
  16. @Lvth if there is AutoEq update, it's always pushed into the next Poweramp build. It's also possible to import the AutoEq project directly via Settings / Audio / Equalizer / Import AutoEq Presets, or you can just import single (txt) preset - open it via any file manager in Poweramp or import via presets lists / long press any preset / Import.
  17. @Lefan I guess it can it's possible (as option). Especially if few other similar option requirests accumulate, so that can be implemented in one "package". Thanks for the request!
  18. @Nikunj Khangwal if you start search results playback by pressing song in the results, you're playing All Songs category. The sorting used is the sorting set for All Songs.
  19. @Phantom52347 if it crashes, please send the crash log next time it suggests (and PM me here so I can find it). Thanks!
  20. @Splungeworthy if you forced Tidal to play on MAX, it will use hi-res output and that is usually does not support equalization (depends on firmware/device though). Change MAX plan to lower plan and it should work.
  21. @viharm Poweramp combines songs into albums based on album name (case insensitive) + album artist or artist tags (case insensitive). Year does not participate in this process. This is mostly due to the year being not reliable for the tracks in the wild, and applying year to the album splitting will break most existing libraries in user unexpected way.
  22. @Maria from your screenshots, it seems you have no enough space for "alternative layout" option - so you may want to disable that. And also you have larger system fonts/scaling which further reduces avail space, as for me the "half" screen layout looks like this (this is ~976 build, older builds may behave differently): Generally, it's not possible to make all Poweramp skin option combinations to work on any screen size/aspect out of there, so skin options adjustments may be needed.
  23. @eng3 if from the log there is MEDIA_RESUME command, it will be catched and last played audio player will resume. If it doesn't work this way - it's generally a bug (player does not respond to MEDIA commands, which are usually the commands from headset buttons, some lockscreens, or car headunits). I guess some option is possible to ignore some MEDIA_* commands, but this may be hard to tune properly as the affected headunit (which sends MEDIA_RESUME action, usually due to some "Resume" option on connect in it).
  24. @Bernhardo try to disable Direct Volume Control (DVC) in Equalizer settings and check if this works. You may need to reduce preamp if basses overload after that.
