    @Ronin22 it’s killed by some sort of background task killer/ battery optimizer. Add Poweramp Equalizer to the exceptions list.

    @Bernhardo try to disable compressor and equalizer (via equ button) - does it help? If so, it’s either the compressor settings or equ preamp. Does youtube video player have this problem?

    First, this is Poweramp player forum category, not Equalizer, so I’ll move the topic appropriately. As for very precise low frequency bands tweaking in Equalizer it may require increasing Block size to increase resolution of the FFT used in Equalizer app. The whole processed spectrum is evenly divided, and while Equalizer tries to approximate parametric/graphic bands/settings to these fixed FFT bands, you may have like 10hz+ or so resolution, which may not be enough for 100% accurate lower bands. Increasing block size increases resolution, but it also increases cpu load and smearing, so there is a trade off.

    @Raalnewtes thanks for the request. DNLA/Upnp is a local network protocol, it's not a cloud protocol. If you mean you want to access your home NAS, it's already possible with plugins (CIFS Documents Provider), but it won't work well for larger libraries due to need for scan for tags. Same for cloud storages, they are much slower and only folder based access realistically possible within Poweramp (which runs on your device, it doesn't have any cloud components, may be except chromecast support).

    @Slimbo preamp changes level of the signal before Poweramp DSP, as well as other Poweramp volume related gains (Replay gain, No DVC Gain, etc.).

    @Chrisclonaldo mqa is loseless DRM and licensed format, so perfect bit is not possible with it, and it requires payments from users (for example, subscription or in-app purchase) to enable - that I try to avoid. Also bit perfect playback is only possible on DAPs, and USB DACs, but not via phone 3.5/Bluetooth/Speaker outputs. This is planned though.

    I will open the forum voting area quite soon (for all registered members) so we can prioritize things from this list. Most of the Poweramp features were requested by users, but previously they were randomly picked from the list of the requests.

    Actually, I'm keeping the eye on few tools which may help port Poweramp to iOS - Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. The latter is a cross platform UI framework which can be used for Poweramp, but it still in alpha. Using these frameworks, it's possible to share major part of codebase, and it would be possible to port Poweramp to iOS and Desktop (PC, Mac).

    @Eckless does the line "19:05:12.102 AppScannerSupport PAUSE pause_on_headset USB disconnection/AA" corresponds to that screen off/pause event? If so, this is headset disconnection event which Poweramp has to obey and pause. You can verify by temporarily disabling "Pause On Headset Disconnect". I'll try to reproduce this on 14QPR2 as well.

    Legacy / non-legacy mode is not an issue here - it's only affects scanning time and Poweramp is optimized and quite fast in normal mode scanning on the recent devices. Is Poweramp actually finished with the scan on your device (Settings / Library shows no progress)?

    @ufedor thanks for the file. Large id3v2 image caused adts desync. I added support for raw aac files with id3v2 tag like this to the next build. You can make it playable in the current Poweramp builds by removing album art images or for example, changing it to somewhat else (currently the image takes 5mb of 8.9 mb aac file and is not that high quality anyway, but it's not the most extreme case I've seen).

    @Feuerswut thanks for the request, but if you means lyrics rendering, Poweramp displays text as is, it doesn't process text itself. If text is unicode, it should be properly displayed for all the symbols included into the font.

    @andrewilley there is no such control, we can show or hide it and manipulate background under the status bar.

    @Arlaor Chromecast is media playback device designed for the Internet content. Local content was never considered for it by Google for obvious reasons, so there is no simple solution for it, but Poweramp casting works fine provided devices can talk to each other in the local network.

    @jwrobinson1 Poweramp Equalizer controls 2 bands of multi band compressor, the frequency sets that frequency. If set to 24khz or 20hz it's basically the single band. Otherwise it's like 2 independent compressors with the same parameters - one for the 0 -> frequency, and another one for frequence -> max. freq. bands.

    @andrewilley it's possible to add multiple icons there, though they can handle just simple click-to-action, and they should be always the same size as any other item in the list.

    @Corey Harrold I guess that may happen if you have some Poweramp database corruption, resulting in fresh full rescan. Poweramp itself does not have code to cleanup the database this way automatically (you need to manually uncheck folders, do rescan, check folders back again).

    @Luucas Android doesn't "enforce" contrast for status bar as it does for navigation bar, so light/white-ish album art will make status bar non-readable, and also there is not-that-great-looking overlap of status bar icons with lists if no background is used. This is why it's not implemented in the built-in skins, but still it's implemented in many 3rd party skins. Also you can remove status bar in Poweramp completely via "Hide Status Bar" option. Thakns!

    @AzurBarnitzke Shuffle Lists mode actually works for lists with multiple categories (such as Albums), and doesn't work for Queue, so I'm not sure what your request/question is about. If you mean you want to shuffle some user created Playlist structurally based on the contained song tags - this seems to be quite complicated from UI and end-user understanding point of view, but if you have good ideas about that - feel free to share.

    @R.M Lebara thanks for the log. Unfortunately it doesn't contain any entries regarding the scan or file access. The log should be taken after any scan attempt (e.g. via lists menu / Rescan).

    @R.M Lebara there is no access to files (if folders are properly selected and Full Rescan used once). May be it’s a problem similar to some Samsung ROMs where External storage component has no access to files, or it can be something else (some disabled system component, ROM issue) - hard to guess remotely, though you can try to send us a log from Poweramp right after you’re trying the rescan.
