GeekInProgress
I can confirm that high res audio is working perfectly on my LeEco le 2 running smallEUI v3. It uses a typec to 3.5mm adapter. I am using the latest build 811 from play store. Supported format: 24-bit, 192 khz. High res audio works both with/without DVC. Awesome work @maxmp

overdose
what makes it work or not? people have reported that OnePlus One and Oneplus 3t its working. But not on OnePlus 5 (stock OOS 8.1, snapdragon 835) nor OnePlus 6. On my OPO5, stuck at ''actual : 48khz'', slected 192khz'', and sound is cutting when enabled. edit : nm, viper4android was overtaking it.
Reborn.N
You can add the Poco/PocoPhone F1 to the list of supported devices as you can see. If I need it or not is a different story lol All my music I carry on my phone is in 44.1/48KHZ 320BPS MP3 format. My headphones (1More Triple Driver In-Ear Headphones) are Hi-Res compatible though so I can hear a difference but I'm not that clued up on audio engineering so don't know what settings to have. For the purpose of the screenshot I have set it to 192KHZ to show that that's as far as it goes (I have it set to 48KHZ when listening to music). Where is the best place to figure out to get the best settings? EDIT: Forgot to add I'm on MIUI 10.1.3.0 stable ROM . It's a half arsed ROM by Xiaomi where they have mixed some lib libraries from an Oreo ROM into this so called Pie ROM What I have noticed with the settings shown below that when I increase or decrease the volume it does take time to catch up. I don't know if this is a fault with the app or the ROM

Where is the best place to figure out to get the best settings? I am not an audio engineer but from what I understand, increasing the resolution enabled the player to take more detail from the audio track and turn it to sound. It's like increasing the bandwidth on an Internet connection. If you have a large file to download and limited time to do it, the only way to get the file is to increase the size of your pipe (connection speed). That's the same with audio. If your phone supports high resolution output, leave it enabled. The cost in terms of resources (RAM and CPU cycles) is negligible and you'll get better sound for most of your tracks. The easiest files to test this are lossless tracks and higher quality lossy tracks like your 320kbps tracks. Anybody correct me if I'm wrong. The lesson in how audio works will be much welcome. If an audio file is only encoded to 48KHZ (16bit) and you upscale it to 192KHZ (24bit) then what effect does that have on the sound?

Reborn.N
So I tried Poweramp again with Hi-Res on with MIUI 10 Beta 10.8.12.20 ROM and I don't hear a difference. So my guess is it only works with the stable ROM even though it says it's working while on beta EDIT: Forgot to say I'm still using a PocoPhone F1
Melinda
The Hi-Res Output, Wired Headset/Aux works amazing and perfect so far on Asus Zenfone AR, ASUS_A002A, Android 7.0 I've only been using Poweramp for a few days and was getting very disappointed because the sound through my headset(as well as without) was terribly distorted until I tried the experimental Hi-Res Output. This seems to be the only way I that my music sounds decent. Is there a setting like a sound check that will make all of my music the same sound and level besides the Hi-Res? PD: ojo con la frecuencia de muestreo, para Hi-Res esta deberá estar por encima de los 48Khz, en la última actualización se queda una nueva configuración activada(definida por el dispositivo) y habrá que cambiarla. Greetings, in capturing yours, since I do not speak or read your language, I can only tell you that through the USB output-DAC is the output you should use if you connect some headphones with USB-C connection (such as Huawei C33) are low-cost, Hi-Res ™ and sound pretty good , if the first option is the headphones wired/AUX This would be the output of the Jack 3.5 not if your terminal will have, mine if and I must tell you that in some versions of Poweramp was not operational since the output of Hi-Res now as you see in the Catch mine If this, but give it time if something still not going as fine as it has to go, is because @maxmp will be trying to improve it and fix it in next Build's. PD:Eye with the sampling frequency, for Hi-Res This should be above the 48Khz in the last update is left a new configuration Actctivada (defined by the device) and will have to change it.
