  1. Poweramp should not be checking for the existence of .nomedia files at all. Any folders chosen via the Music Folders menu should always be scanned by PA even if a .nomedia file is present. The file is purely to prevent the Android system media scanner from also scanning the same folder(s) if you don't want it to. Andre
  2. Seems OK to me. You may not be able to just click on the CSV file or drag it to Excel to open it though. I found that in Excel I needed to use menu>Data>From Text/CSV. Otherwise it does not seem to recognise the forced-verbatim fields that are enclosed in quote marks. For example, a CSV export ready for Excel should be a text file with all of the fields delimited by quotation marks (to avoid the problem you describe with commas in fields): "Mamma Mia";"ABBA";"ABBA";"01";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"210" "Hey, Hey Helen";"ABBA";"ABBA";"02";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"193" "Tropical Loveland";"ABBA";"ABBA";"03";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"182" "SOS";"ABBA";"ABBA";"04";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"198" "Man In The Middle";"ABBA";"ABBA";"05";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"176" "Bang-A-Boomerang";"ABBA";"ABBA";"06";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"180" "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do";"ABBA";"ABBA";"07";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"193" "Rock Me";"ABBA";"ABBA";"08";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"182" "Intermezzo No.1";"ABBA";"ABBA";"09";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"223" "I’ve Been Waiting For You";"ABBA";"ABBA";"10";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"216" "So Long";"ABBA";"ABBA";"11";"1975";"Pop ; Disco";"183" And the default settings when importing that into Excel with menu>Data>From Text/CSV should result in: (you can control which tags get exported by using the 'Edit' function in TasScanner's Export menu) Andre
  3. I guess silence removal is most useful for Shuffled playback really. I was listening to a shuffle sequence one night and I actually thought PA had stopped, but it was just a very long silent lead-out. Andre
  4. It's on the Requests list, and will most likely be addressed when Max is next working in the EQ code. In the meantime, you can vote for it here once your account is valid: Andre
  5. As you don't want input from anyone other than the developer, I won't annoy you any further by trying to offer assistance. But from a site administration point of view, please could you confirm that you and your mate are both referring to functionality of the stand-alone Poweramp Equalizer app (which this thread, and this section of the forums, is about) rather than to a new issue that you are now experiencing within the equalizer screen of the main Poweramp Music Player app, as you just refer generically to "Poweramp". Assuming you are discussing the stand-alone PA-EQ app anyway, presumably you have already downloaded the latest beta version (currently build 982 from 3rd Jan) but you are still experiencing this problem? Andre
  6. @Ricobico Yes, with Auto-Save that's basically how it's meant to work. When you have a Preset currently active, and you make some new adjustments to the EQ Sliders, Tone Controls, etc, those adjustments will be automatically saved back into the original Preset - so you should get the changed version back again the next time you activate that Preset. Andre
  7. Auto-save should save any slider adjustments that you make back to the current Preset's name, overwriting whatever was there before. You can save a Preset for a given song, which will override whatever else you were using at the time. There is a priority order that dictates which type of saved Preset should take precedence (general output method, specific named device, album, song, etc) and I think the intended logic is that song is meant to takes the highest preference over any of the other saved presets. Andre
  8. I guess "Silence Between Tracks" could very easily act as "Silence Before Tracks" instead. Personally, I'd be keen on the opposite effect - i.e. removal of long digital silences, especially at the end of tracks. I had one song recently during a Shuffle session which seemed to have about a 10 second silent lead-out. Remove Silence used to be an option in PA v2, but somehow it went missing during the update to v3. Andre
  9. Try a Rescan, but the LRC file should be loaded at playback time. No other copies of that data elsewhere? (Maybe edit the first line of the lyrics so you can see that the correct content is being used) What do you see if you edit the offset line to 7000 and then to -7000 ? Andre
  10. I just tested your file with the offset line edited to -7000, and then to 7000, so I could clearly notice the differences. Spaces are ignored. -7000 caused the lyrics to be displayed later than the audio content (i.e. lyrics delayed) while 7000 caused the lyrics to be displayed sooner than the audio content (i.e. lyrics brought forward). This is the same as I observed with my own test files. Andre
  11. On my test file, adding an extra space in [offset: -5000] works fine too, lyric display is delayed for five seconds after the words have been heard. And [offset: 5000] (with a space) works to show the lyrics sooner than the audio. I'll try your test file. Andre
  12. From a quick test of an external LRC file, a positive value [offset:5000] causes the written lyrics to appear five seconds sooner than the sung audio content, while a negative value [offset:-5000] causes the written lyrics to appear five seconds later than the sung audio content. Andre
  13. Right, so not a WAV issue then. I'll have a check see if this issue is still present in the current builds. Andre
  14. @Zyntaxys Not sure of the reason, but WAV files are not really suitable for use with media playback devices anyway due to their huge sizes. They are more suited to editing work. If you want lossless audio, try FLAC. Are you trying to embed the lyric data into the WAV file, or using a separate sidecar LRC file? Andre
  15. New Stable releases tend to be set about four times a year, with interim new Beta updates to add new features or fix discovered issues coming out in the meantime. Build 976 is the most recent to be promoted to 'Stable' status (about a month ago) while 981 is the latest beta update, which can't be too far off being ready to be moved to Stable. But there will never be a 'Final' release - as in "that's your lot, nothing more to add". Well, not until Android stops morphing itself into new variants, and users stop asking for new features. Andre
  16. Sounds like maybe a MIUI issue, have you granted debugging rights in the Android Developer Options page? Max would need to say more though, I don't have any MIUI devices to test with. Have using tried using the full ADB command line tool too rather than just the website? Andre
  17. Phew, sounds like we've got an answer for you now. I actually earned a few things myself during testing for this thread too. Andre
  18. @Indra Markam What device are you using, and what USB-connected device to run the ADB commands? (Computer, another phone?) Andre
  19. The top screenshot shows the more modern, but complex, Parametric Equalizer controls. The bottom screenshot is the more traditional Graphic Equalizer, with sliders to adjust various fixed frequency bands. Tap the Preset button (shown as set to 'Bass & Treble' in your images) and select either plain Parametric or Graphic mode, or one of the pre-defined settings. There are further tweaks (such as how many graphic bands you want, for which 10 is the default) in PA Settings=>Audio=>Equalizer. That looks like the stand-alone Poweramp Equalizer app by the way, not the Music Player, so I'll move this thread over to the correct forum. Andre
  20. @Bubba1 The Poweramp Unlocker is to licence the Poweramp Music Player app (only). If you aren't using the music player any more, you can uninstall both the main Poweramp app and the Poweramp Unlocker app. The Equaliser app is a separate product which needs its own purchase (which you do from within its Settings page) and it does not require the Music Player to be installed. Andre
  21. The 'Album Artist' tag merely needs to be the same across all tracks in an album. Quoting the wording as "Various Artists" was just a commonplace example, it could be the actual artist's name if it's a simple collection of their work. And if the individual tracks in an album are also all listed as being by the same Track Artist (again, quite a common occurrence for music albums) then changing the artwork for one song, or even at the album level, will change the artwork shown for every other track in the album too. The exact logic is down to the naming and matching conventions of the JPG files in the cache folder, but probably not worth getting into here. Artist images are completely separate, and stored in different folders, from Album covers. Same goes for artwork for Genres, Playlists, etc. They may of course end up being be the same picture - such as when there are no online search results for a particular named artist's photo, I guess one of their album covers may show up as an online match instead. To see the actual images being retained and shown by Poweramp, take a look in the cache folders using a File Explorer app. There are different folders used for automatically found images and for manually selected ones (the manual images should always be used in preference to auto-downloads). album_art or selected_aa for album covers as used in album/song lists, and on the player screen. artist_art or selected_artist for artist images used in the Artists category. composer_art or selected_composer for composer images used in the Composers category. genre_art or selected_genre for genre images used in Genres category. playlist_art or selected_playlist for playlists as shown in the Playlists category. If you view those folders sorted by most recent files first you can see what files get change or added when you modify the cover art within the player app. The Artist photos (as stored in selected_artist) should only be affected when you either: Long-press on one artist's name in the full Artists or Album Artists library lists, and select 'Image' from the resulting menu. Click down from one of those two lists to see an individual artist's albums, and without opening any of the album pages use the three-dot menu option and select 'Image'. As far as I can think, those are the only ways to manually choose an Artist image, otherwise an automated download will be searched for (and cached in the artist_art folder). All of the above assumes your music is correctly tagged with accurate Artist, Album Artist, and Album names; if you invent these names for your own purposes (like my own "Singles" faux-album) you'll probably need to use local Gallery images as online searches will be pretty unreliable. Andre
  22. What does the end section of Audio Info show (screenshot ideally). If you are having specific device connectivity issues, it'd be best not to use experimental features like Hi-Res Output. Set the Outputs menu back to defaults. If that works you could then try AAudio or AudioTrack which may also allow higher resolution settings. But honestly, in a car what's the point anyway? You'll never hear any observable difference with the engine and road/wind noise around you. Andre
  23. You can see what Output path is currently being used for playback from the Audio Info list in PA Settings=>Audio. Andre
  24. Sorry, you originally said you were seeing Artist images (which are generally auto-fetched back solely on the contents of the Artist tag). It's getting a bit hard to follow exactly what you are seeing, now you are saying the Album artwork is blank? Again, if nothing is embedded in any of the song files, PA should attempt to auto-download song images and then it will choose one of them for the overall album. The online search criteria would be based on the Title and Artist tags for the song, or Album Title and Album Artist tags for the album. To choose a new overall Album Cover image, drill down until you are viewing the complete list of songs for that album. Tap the three-dots icon and select 'Album Art'. Pick an image from the items sourced online, or choose from your local Gallery (within the size limitations given in the FAQs I linked above). You can also do the same on a per-song basis (use three-dots menu in the Player Screen, or long-press in the song list, for each track separately). The display logic is based on how the images are named and cached, but broadly it's based on whether the Artist and Album Artist tags fully match throughout the whole series of songs. If they are all the same, one image will applied for all the songs in that album, and thus for the overall album too. If the track artists vary though, a change to one track's artwork will only apply for any tracks in the album which are tagged as being by the same Track Artist. So for example, in a "Various Artists" collection album with each song by a different Track Artist, you can change the artwork for each individual track from the Player Screen's three-dots menu (or long-press on the song title in the list). Each song can have different artwork. You can then assign a completely different image for the overall album by using the three-dots menu at the Album songs level and choose Album Art from there. If you want to dig even deeper (and beware, it's a rabbit hole!) check out the contents of the cache folder where the found/downloaded images are stored: Andre
