Just trying to play ALAC (m4a) 24 bit 96kHz 2894 kbps. It sounds like it plays at a half speed, very slowly. I checked all my tracks with high sample rate and every that track sounds the same. It seems like playhead have a problem with higher sample rate. In fact it's amazing because Poweramp is only player that support ALAC and high bit rate. But half speed playback sounds a little bit weird ;)

Same problem as above. Power Amp shows 44.1kHz, but the file is at 96kHz. So I guess it is playing at less than half speed.

iTunes shows 96kHz and plays it ok.

Guys! I can't propertly play even 24 bit 192 kHz ALAC. It plays with a half speed. Sure I uderstand it's useless to play so hi-quality song on a mobile device. But! It is also useless to convert every song from my music library before listening on a mobile phone. I want just copy and go. Simply and easy. Please, fix it ;)

Current Poweramp has 144khz limit for flacs. Such flacs generally resampled by Poweramp to device output sampling rate (44.1 / 48 khz). Also, such high rate files are not generally recommended for portable devices (due to x4-x5 cpu/battery consumption), still, we already changed that sample frequency limit to 256khz in current Poweramp dev. builds,
so with the next update such high sample rate files will be played by Poweramp.

Poweramp 2.0.10 B-588 - Cyanogenmod 13 - S4   - AAC , 16000Hz, 16bit, Mono, 48kBit/s, 297 kBit   - recorded with a Android Chat-App called Conversation.

The Problem still persist for me. Is it supposed to be work now? It doesn't for me (still slow mo).

That's a really bizarre format to try to play in a high-end Music Player! You could try the alpha test build for v3 (from the Downloads tab above) as I know AAC support was increased somewhat.
