In Poweramp (and more generally with audio files) ratings are applied to specific song files, not to more general concepts such as albums, artists, folders, genres, years, etc. The intention is to apply a rating while listening to one song, which is when you can decide if you like it or dislike it (although I do question that if you dislike it, what is it doing in your carefully collated music collection anyway? ;)

I think it was suggested by someone a while back that a rating icon could possibly be added into the long-press context menu found for category song lists (which do allow multi-selection) but then the question arose of how to handle thumbs up and down, and 1-5 stars for normal star-based ratings.

I suggest to add rate button and it will be open pop-up window of rating based on 5 stars rating or like or dislike...

Hello Andre, really love the new ability to move multiple tracks within a playlist instead of one by one. Thanks!

It would be fantastic to be able to rate several tracks simultaneously.  Been using Poweramp for years (initially because of Replaygain support). Now want to shift all ratings by one star. E.g. all 1* songs will be deleted to free up space and to give 5 possible ratings instead of 4 for the keepers.
