flyingdutchman
One of my Yaps users Normann G. came up with the brilliant idea of having presets for a skin. For Yaps this make perfect sense as there are now so many options and permutations that saving presets would be very helpful. For example, a theme using the Gold settings for artifacts such as buttons, backgrounds etc could be preserved as a preset named Gold Theme. The user also has a theme based upon the Lime colours. Saving this as Lime preset. Switching would simply be by selecting the appropriate preset, much in the same way you select an equaliser preset. @maxmpcould you please consider this as something worthwhile to add Forum members, if you like this idea, react to this topic
MotleyG
This would be great, especially if these presets could then be shared. Again similar to the EQ export/import option this would be helpful. Edited November 22, 2021 by MotleyG
flyingdutchman
@MotleyG in principle only settings for the same skin (and version) could be shared

But users of the same skin app could then share settings without affecting all of their other PA settings.
andrewilley
Sounds good to me too. I'd prefer if it was built into a more comprehensive and configurable Backup/Restore Settings feature though, which I mooted a while ago and Max said he would look at implementing at some point.
