Incorrect album art in Android Auto

AA ver 6.2.610924-release

Album art is displayed normally in playlist and mini mode. However, other album art is displayed on the Now Playing screen.

Not all files show the wrong album art, but quite a few files cause this problem.

Other players, such as JetAudio and Rocket Player, did not see this issue.

Check the options in PA Settings > Album Art. e.g. Always Send, API Compatibility, etc. Is there anything in common about when this issue occurs? Do all of your files contain embedded artwork for example, or in-folder images, or manually-set, or automatically downloaded art?

@andrewilley I tried on/off the Always send, API compatibility, older version API, legacy file access, but to no avail. All album art images are embedded.

Not sure then. There were some issues in the past with downloaded art, but you say these are all images embedded in the actual audio files. Android Auto sometimes seems to need lockscreen artwork enabled too, you could give that a try and see if it helps.

@andrewilley  yes. that's right. if turn off lock screen artwork, didn't show any albumart. so, already turned on that option.

I also noticed this.  All album art is embedded

@sho_OnyIs there a chance the tracks you are seeing this with have more than one embedded image? Many other music player apps (including Android Auto) use the first embedded artwork, but I have found that Poweramp always displays the last one. And at least for now it isn't selectable.
