  1. When the app is in Android Auto mode, even though my music library comprehend artist pretty much from A-Z it only loads a part of them (precisely: A to J). Shuffling all the tracks actually makes Poweramp play pretty much all the artists. When the app is in Android Auto mode it follows the "Media channel audio stream" (I don't know if it is the precise name, but basically it is the volume you set when you adjust media sound in Android). This does not happen in all other players in Android Auto. I suppose Poweramp is designed to do so to have the ability of using EQ/Effects and stuff When adding a track to the queue, no title appears. Music does not stop when disconnected from Android Auto Poweramp build: v3-build-820-play Phone model: LG V10 H960A Android Version: 7.0 Android Auto version: 3.9.585064-release Google Play Services: 14.7.99
  2. build 905 arm64-play samsung galaxy s20 (SM-G981N) android 11, stock ROM AA ver 6.2.610924-release Album art is displayed normally in playlist and mini mode. However, other album art is displayed on the Now Playing screen. Not all files show the wrong album art, but quite a few files cause this problem. see this video. Other players, such as JetAudio and Rocket Player, did not see this issue.
  3. I have a large library of mp3 and flac files with album art encoded using ID3 tags. The album art displays fine in the Poweramp app and in the menus of Poweramp in android auto, but not in the main song screen of android auto. I can, however, get the art to display for an entire album in the main screen if I go into the app and manually set the album art for one song on that album to the embedded art. I can reproduce this bug in both my android auto head unit and the android auto app. v3-build-864-arm64-play Full Version Motorola One Zoom Android 9
  4. Before I begin, here's relevant info about my setup. I'll also include screenshots of my settings, as I'm not keen on interpreting what's set vs what it means. Poweramp: v3-build-884-arm64-play [884004-9876041fv3-build-884-arm64-play [884004-9876041f] Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G OS: Android 10 This issue is twofold, and I do not believe it to be an Android issue, but maybe it is? It didn't occur on my previous device, also on Android 10. I use my phone for Android Auto purposes when I drive. Like most, that means music and navigation. Having Poweramp playback when I drive is among my favorite things in life. However, it's not without its kinks, and I'd like to get to the bottom of them. Either the program doesn't behave the way I perceive it should based on settings, Android itself is a nuisance, or there is some other element at play. I typically connect through USB before I start my car. BT ALWAYS connects before the USB interface is detected and communicates with my infotainment system (VW Golf R, MK7). There are two things that happen - and not every time I use the device - that I can't figure out: 1. During initial connection and the resulting playback, it is favoring bluetooth playback instead of over the USB. I know this because when it connects successfully and begins playback over USB instead, regardless of the volume I set in Poweramp, the actual playback volume doesn't change whatsoever. It's clearer, more crisp, louder, and a higher fidelity. SOMETIMES, if I'm lucky and I time it right, by turning BT off before connecting USB, it is properly detected and playback is beautiful. That happens successfully about 1 out of every 10+ attempts, and is dependent on whether I have the time to go through those steps. 2. Upon disconnection, again not every time but most times, playback stops from my car but blares from my phone's loudspeaker for a brief moment. Poweramp then seems to "catch up" to the change in output devices (the car output no longer being connected), and pauses playback. Or - in the worst-case scenario - it will NOT stop after briefly continuing to blare through my phone's loudspeakers. *I also submitted a related bug report in the appropriate section of the forum regarding Poweramp not respecting settings with regards to notifications* If you've read this far, you're a saint. These little kinks drive me bonkers and I want to know how to get it to consistently favor USB hi-res output because my car's BT isn't capable of supporting the codecs and there is a noticeable difference in quality. Same with the surprise brief blaring after disconnecting. Thanks in advance for any notes!
  5. I really have no idea if this is a Poweramp limitation or an Android Auto limitation, but it would be great if the "now playing" screen on Android Auto could include the album name for the currently playing track.
  6. I use the ratings feature to decide which songs to delete from the MASSIVE music collection on my phone. Since I bought a new car with Android Auto, I've been unable to rate songs, and after a long trip I have no idea which ones I had decided to delete. PLease add the rating system (stars, thumbs, I'm not picky which) so I have a record that I can review after my drive and delete songs as necessary. Bob
  7. Hey all, I just downloaded Poweramp this week, and it's been great. However, I finally got to use it with Android Auto today and when I skip to the next track about 50% of the time the album art doesn't change, it just keeps the art of the previous song that was playing. I've had other apps do this briefly, where it would take a few seconds to load before changing, but Poweramp didn't change the artwork until the second song ended. The quick solution I found was to skip forward to another track then go back and the art would reset. Additionally, if I skipped two songs forward instead of just one the problem never happened. Is there something I can check or uncheck in the settings to make this not happen in the future? Poweramp build: v3-build-866-arm64-play [866994-d7e07d05] Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note9 OS: Android 10
  8. Album art for some songs/albums will show correctly in the app on the phone display, but an arbitrary "default" image is displayed on my vehicle's infotainment screen. I find no consistent behavior, other than it seems to default to 1 of 2 album covers if it doesn't display the actual one. Android 10, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
  9. Would love to see all the awesome visualization on my infotainment screen when playing via Android auto.
  10. Hi, I use my phone heavily with Android Auto. For some reason, the audio output is inconsistent with Poweramp. Mind you, this is not over Bluetooth, but over USB. My phone does connect via Bluetooth for contacts, etc, but audio is specifically disabled over Bluetooth for media whenever connected via USB for Android Auto. What I'm noticing is that Poweramp is routing audio through what it thinks is Bluetooth, and thereby using the SBC codec, resulting in a variation of issues, ranging from extremely low output volume (I have to crank the radio volume knob over halfway to get it to a nominal level) to inferior sound quality. To confuse things further, this doesn't happen every time I connect the USB cable for AA. Sometimes, upon initiating AA, the volume and clarity are noticably superior, and yet when I check the output path for audio in Poweramp it remains the same. Truly perplexing. Attached are screenshots of my talking points here. How can I force Poweramp to route media playback via USB and achieve hi-res audio?
  11. Hi, Since upgrading my phone to a Galaxy S10 from a Moto G6, I no longer see ANY track info about the currently playing track on my car display in Android Auto mode. Nothing. No filename, artist, track - nothing. And if I return to the parent list, it doesn't indicate what the currently playing track is either. Help! Paid for pro version and expected better. Thanks, Sam
  12. V3 build 838. Samsung Note 9 - Pie. To enable Wireless Android Auto I am using Google Play services beta and an Android Auto APK not yet released on app store. I accept that these are beta features and could well be the cause of the issue. Issue does not occur when using Android Auto wired.
  13. I am using a wired usb connection to my car with a Bluetooth connection for calls. When Poweramp is set as the Android auto default music player, even if I am not playing any music, Bluetooth constantly disconnects then reconnects approximately every 20-30 seconds. If I change to another music player the problem stops. I am running the latest version of Android auto, last updated 23 April. Poweramp build 823
  14. Since i have owned Android, I have had Poweramp premium version because the Devs deserved this for a hard work they have put into such an amazing, feature rich app. Today times have changed, music subscription apps are thriving too well, but Poweramp goes on, and new UX is totally mind-blowing! Would love to see Android Auto integration for sure. Please consider adding Android Auto integration, every music app has that today. Why not feature be in the app that was a Master of music from the beginning of Android? Thank you. Love ?
  15. This is a bridge to enable support for Poweramp in Android Auto. To make Poweramp visible in Android Auto you need to enter the developer settings in Android Auto and enable "unknown sources": https://9to5google.com/2018/01/12/how-to-enable-android-auto-developer-settings-android-basics Please enable "Alyways Process Album Art" in the Poweramp Settings > Album Cover (feature of Poweramp v3) to ensure the correct album art is shown when the device is in sleep mode. Use Poweramp Build 709 for best support. Anything above might fail. Key features: - Playback control (no sh*t, Sherlock) - Display album art - Repeat and shuffle mode - Access playlists from the menu - Notifications on title change If you like to give me a cookie or two, here is a link https://paypal.me/phrosh [ Download 1.0.2 ]

  17. Hi mate , is it possible to add Poweramp in android auto app ? I like to use Poweramp in my car✌️
  18. Every person who have a car needs this feature. There is no single android music player out there to provide Power AMP like features. Just for android auto support I used many players but still its not digesting. So no android auto support on power amp no music in my car. Please do this as early as possible in your next developer version for music lovers. With love and regards
  19. It's been said before but it's not mentioned on the build priority list although there are TONS of requests for it. I would GLADLY buy an addon app to add Android Auto support... Google Play SUCKS and Poweramp is the BEST player out there! Please +1 for Android Auto, from what I have read, integration is meant to be easy (relatively speaking) and thousands of cars are rolling out with Android Auto now
