@andrewilley yes. that's right. if turn off lock screen artwork, didn't show any albumart. so, already turned on that option.

@andrewilley I tried on/off the Always send, API compatibility, older version API, legacy file access, but to no avail. All album art images are embedded.

build 905 arm64-play samsung galaxy s20 (SM-G981N) android 11, stock ROM AA ver 6.2.610924-release Album art is displayed normally in playlist and mini mode. However, other album art is displayed on the Now Playing screen. Not all files show the wrong album art, but quite a few files cause this problem. see this video. Other players, such as JetAudio and Rocket Player, did not see this issue.
