    @MD. RONE please what do you mean? Are you saying Poweramp is not playing songs? Please give (grant) Poweramp permission to the location of your music files. Go to settings, Library, Music Folders, then add storage (select where you have music saved). If that is not the problem, please give clear details. Bencherished

    @Mark89 sorry about that, where do you run the rescan from? Is it from Poweramp settings? You have to change some settings in Poweramp- Library- Scanner.

    @andrewilley That was exactly what was happening, I was confused because I have changed no settings lately, no be sure, I had to check and change settings, now it has not happened since.

    @Mark89 toggle the button on and off, something changed In Queue category, if queued songs are playing, I noticed that if I add song(s) to Queue, Poweramp restarts Queue (playing songs already played) I have not changed settings in library- Queue. I wanted to report the issue to Max, but just to be sure, I changed (toggled) the settings then back again, now is working fine. I think this update (build 939) changed most of the settings underground. Bencherished

    @maxmp Music resumes on Bluetooth connection even when resume on Bluetooth and wire connection both turned off, I don't know what is causing it. I had my phone connected to home theater through Bluetooth, turned off home theater, connected Bluetooth headset and music resumes play. This also happens when I restart phone. Android 12 Samsung galaxy m51. Poweramp builds -939 Bencherished

    @andrewilley do you know if android 12 has any changes relating to sound improvement? I just got it on Samsung galaxy m51, the sound over Bluetooth, I feel has changed, more detailed and sharp. I changed no sound settings in Poweramp, but I can tell it sounds different. Bencherished

    @GeilerHeinz when reporting cases like this, it helps to include phone model and android version for easy diagnosis. Please check your SD card for error if you are using one. Bencherished

    To have a smooth operation of Poweramp, it is good to take the pain to sort files. Avoid multiple layers of folders, use correct tag, multiple similar tags and files should be deleted, use similar files. Remove corrupt files, etc. Bencherished

    There is a FAQs list at the top of the forums list here, and you can also use in-app Help on most screens (Hamburger icon > Help) but there is no manual per se - rather like most phone apps to be honest. Is there something particular you are looking for? (@andrewilley) Bencherished

    Are you reporting a problem that you had that has been resolved? If you are still experiencing the problem, do a full re-scan of library, try the same process on all songs library.

    I am guessing, this is a faulty memory card, or should I say fake SD card. It's not up to the size (512gb) so what is happening is, you have reached the actual capacity of the card so any new file you transfer will overwrite the later. To confirm this, try it out with a PC, open three windows, copy files to it, while copying, refresh a window that contains old files, keep in mind the number of files, if I am right, it will be reduced as you copy new files. I hope you did not move the files to the new card?

    @fishyweb I don't have a Pixel 4a5g or android 12 OS, so we have to work it from your side. Do you have any other music player installed? If yes, is it having same issue? You did not explain what you meant by moving the phone. Does this happen immediately when screen turn off (phone locked)? Do you have a third-party Ram management app installed? (please check) Finally, in Poweramp settings, Misc - Use wake lock. Enable. Bencherished

    @Franklin kf please if this category (Language) is added, what will be in it? Music players do not read what language a song is playing, it just plays the file, if you want your music (files) to be sorted by language, I suggest you create a folder(s) and move them to your preference.     I noticed that the album art on the top of album and playlist categories has 3/4 darker appearance.

    Bottom buttons option: Good one Max, I said something about this, I used Samsung one UI, as an example, where in a page, options can be dragged down almost to the middle of the screen, but @andrewilleysaid what's the point? Some time reaching the top of the screen is stressful, especially using one hand. I wish this could be applied to the settings page too. Bencherished

    Max is right, by the time you start lining up request or features to be added to the app, and giving time frame, and some changes takes place in the course of policy change from OS or Google, users will feel disappointed, some will refuse to understand when you will try to explain just like some of them are doing now. I will suggest let the request keep coming in, and Max should take his time implement any that is suitable for the app, the ones that will not hinder the smooth operation of the app, because to be honest some might even break things.     I hope I don't get punished when I say some request are suspicious. If you don't want a track to play when clicked on the list, how do you want to get it to play? Long press? Nah. If you accidentally pressed a song, just intentionally press the right song or pause. What are you looking for in your song list if you don't wish to click any song?

    @MotleyG I support you, scrolling lyrics that will consume ram and battery, being able to view lyrics on the app if embedded is okay, scrolling? Nah. After adding scrolling, next request is, adding edit lyrics. I want Poweramp to do what virtual DJ is doing on windows, where beats are synchronized, add more skin options, sleep timer is still misbehaving, instead of looking at scrolling lyrics, why not watch a movie? Don't forget scrolling lyrics will keep phone display on. Request and add all you want, but don't break this app. I have love for this app. Bencherished

    One man's food another man's poison, In Nigeria, this is the part we say (Dis One shock me) sometimes I feel some request are not sincere, unless you don't have the correct album, it makes the music player beautiful, songs are easily identified when scrolling through the list. Some request I see makes me feel they are just out to create fault, because even when they are given a solution to the (not a problem to me) they ignore and insist that they don't want to solve the problem with the given solution. We all want different things, but sometimes consider what is happening around (trend) YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, even Movies (Amazon) uses Artwork. Download AutoTagger (an android app) an it will delete all embedded images from your music file(s). Bencherished

    I think this person is responding to someone's comments, instead of writing under the topic, he started a new one. I maybe wrong, but if you are saying that (Google shouldn't be the one that restore the program if you uninstall it, or in a event that your phone is stolen) which other way(s), or means do you want us to use?
