  1. That is what is happening, if timer is set and you pause Music, exit and return and play music, timer starts all over.
  2. @andrewilley I am not in for this request at all. The idea will make Poweramp look horrible. Just see how the first image is looking. My opinion will be to have the album art change the colours of the button, navigation button and seek bar.
  3. What the timer is doing is very funny, I set 15 minutes timer while a song is playing, then I let the song continue for 2 minutes, song is still playing, exited the app and opened chrome and back to Poweramp, checked timer (still counting down) paused music exited Poweramp open Chrome and back to Poweramp, timer was active but not counting, I did not deactivate the timer I pressed play, music was playing I checked the timer, timer have started counting down from 15 minutes previously set. So what the timer is doing is, if you set the timer, at any given point (timer is active) and you pause the music and exit the app and you reopen the app and press play, the time I will start counting from the previous set time, (15 minutes) and start all over.
  4. I have not taken the time to monitor the timer during pause, what I have tried is, tick and un-tiick play last song, and it has been working. Let me use this opportunity to ask, how is the timer supposed to behave? Is it supposed to continue counting even when the music is not playing? In my own opinion I would like it to count even though the music is not playing so that it will keep up with real time, independent whether the music is playing or not, five minutes should be five minutes timer not following the music playback. I will get back to you.
  5. @flyingdutchman yes, but the year should not come first.
  6. @andrewilley I don't like that list view. I prefer
  7. Is there a way to see the total number of song(s) in the album view page before opening the album?
  8. It's definitely not the file, my suggestion will be 2 try another headset, I strongly believe that the sound is coming from the cheap earbug, is not properly couple, I believe is light weighted, so some sounds at a particular level makes it (squeak)
  9. Please when did you start noticing this? Let's see if it's pm version related, what kind of headphone are you using.? Can you also hear the sound from the phone speaker? Finally this may not occur in other players because there are some sounds that can only be heard with Poweramp, and I mean it.
  10. You said it happens randomly, then I think it's from your music file, if your files are mp3 with 48000 kbps then it can happen. Please confirm your music file and Kbps.
  11. Please what is the output source.? (Phone speaker, Bluetooth headphone, or wired earpiece) have you tried any other music player? Is the result different,? Have you tried resetting your device?
  12. I like the effect of the total number of songs on the main player screen, it goes dim when paused and lights up when song is playing, I don't know if it has been there or it came with the skin, but I'm asking if it can apply to the song title.
  13. I think that is the problem, otherwise it would have also happened with the default Vol step.
  14. Yes the problem is with the volume steps, I changed it to default and it's working fine, so I will leave it at default (system volume) for now, but I enjoyed the 100 Vol step, it makes reducing and increasing sound go smooth.
  15. On my Samsung Galaxy m51 running Android 11 One Ui 3.1, when I get to Zero volume, music pauses, pressing Vol + one step plays the song, Vol +two steps stops the music, no matter how many times I press the Vol +, music will not continue, my volume is set to 100 steps.
  16. I have given you the solution, don't edit any currently playing files, if you want to edit it, navigate to the song list, click a different song, then long press on the one want to edit, then click edit, when done, save.
  17. Colours makes things look beautiful, I have above eight thousand MP3 songs, occupying 67GB on my SD CARD, they have mixed kbps, I do notice the difference if any is below 225kbps, so I delete and download a higher kbps. Having the colors will make it easier to sort out the low quality kbps.
  18. This can happen if the file has only read but not write attributes, I encountered this issue with some of my mp3 file, what I did was delete such files, or change the attributes with a laptop. This issue has nothing to do with Poweramp but the file. Another thing to note, don't edit a current playing song, it may get corrupted.
  19. Am always happy to see an update from Poweramp, the sleep timer bug is still present.
  20. Why are you pushing for an exit button? Poweramp consumes far less power even when playing comparing it to other apps, talk more when it's idle, if you wish your songs to always start from the beginning whenever you reopen Poweramp, why not just press the back button before you press play?
  21. Go to settings, and enable > Automatically download missing album art. But know that some of the album art may not be correct ones and they are not embedded in the music files. I prefer having it embedded so they move along wherever they go. Use auto tagger.
  22. How do I group songs from different artists in one album? Example a movie soundtrack album having various Artist but one album title.
  23. Sometimes full rescan don't fix it, deselect your music folder(s) scan, then add again the music folder(s).
