  1. Poweramp does not embed album art permanently, but you can use an android app called autotagger or any other from play store. Bencherished
  2. I don't see anything wrong with the swipe actions in Poweramp. The request for not being able to leave Poweramp with back button will be annoying for. Infact, I see any website or app that refuses exit with back button as malicious, I uninstall or never visit such. My advice is, just get use to Poweramp navigations, or maybe Max should set it as an option to switch navigation pattern. Bencherished
  3. Mine works fine. @andrewilley Thanks for the info about category search, I have never used that option before, I don't search song to find it in a Playlist. I search to play or add it to Playlist, if it's already added, Poweramp will handle it (duplicate). Bencherished
  4. Please that should not drive you crazy, one of the main reasons we search for song(s) is for fast and easy location, or to know if we have it in our collection. So if search returns only songs included in Playlist, what happens if a song is not included in one? I think the option to see which Playlist a song is added, should be seen through long press info/tag. But the problem with that is, info/tag are embedded. Bencherished
  5. This is not a bug if you have enabled it in settings- Headset/ Bluetooth- resume on connection. But if you have those settings turned off like me, and Poweramp resumes occasionally on Bluetooth connection, then it's a bug. In My own case, if I am playing on my home theater, and there is power outage, and I turn on my Bluetooth headphone, Music starts playing (not every time). Bencherished.
  6. @Prosenjit what you should do is, make sure to keep your podcasts in a particular folder, same for Radio shows etc. Whenever you don't want a particular group of collections, eg, Xmas songs, just unmarke the folder(s) from Library- music folder. Bencherished
  7. Please state phone, android version, and Poweramp version. For the time, go to settings, Audio, output. Restore to default. Bencherished
  8. If you want to remain on the list after clicking on a song, just change a setting in Library- List - List item click action- (play and stay in list). If for any reason, you exit to the main player screen, just drag down or tap on the album art, it will take you to the list (depending on the category view the song was clicked). If you have added a song(s) to cue or play next from all Song category, clicking the album art will always take you to cue list. Poweramp does not remember your scrolling position if you exist, unless through a current playing song. Bencherished
  9. Did you change your sd card? Because what is happening here is, there are multiple corrupted files which Poweramp can not read, so it's only playing the few uncorrupted, that's why you are hearing same songs. If you have a PC, try the sd card on it, if same issue occur, backup the sd card, and format it, then move files back. Don't forget to sort out the corrupted files while moving. Bencherished
  10. @Graham R after I read your comment, I took the time to go through my albums 0 to #, they all appeared correctly, mine (Albums) is over 4k. Please what version of Poweramp are you using an OS? Bencherished
  11. @HicksonIndustries There is no setting in Poweramp you have to change for that. First, what is the file format? Does this happen in all your files or a particular one? Have you ever used Poweramp to edit any tags before? For the main time, what I suspect is, the file is read only. But who knows, we need more details. Bencherished
  12. What you should do is, when you finish setting up the Eq, save the setting and assign it to the connected device. You can do this on the Eq page, tap on the name of eq, long press on the same name and select assign, rename or even share your settings. Bencherished
  13. No nah, why would you want to do that, is your headphones wired wrongly? If you want to get a feel of the left on the right, vice versa, expand the stereo. Bencherished
  14. Wow, that is a lot of requests. Alright, Poweramp have a list of songs it has played, just go to Library, click on recently played. For the time the song was played, just long press on any song, select info/tag, you will see last played (this can be done from any list). Knowing where (location) a song was played, @Roey Katz sorry about that, for now I don't think Poweramp does that, because it (Poweramp) will need permission to track your location, and for a music player, I don't think it's necessary. Rating, I don't rate my songs, the best I can do is create a Playlist, but I believe you have your rating enabled. Sorry again, you can only sort (view) rating for now from library category, top rated/low rated, (Just add it to Library list category) to add this, click on the 3 dot on the top right of list/ list option/ top rated, or view it from Poweramp play screen. 15. To add @andrewilley explanation, most times, songs are added individually at different time, days or even years as the case may be, so sorting Album by recently added is a difficult task, don't forget, even Artists release single(s) before the full album is released which most times are not in the same year. So if you download the single, and later download the album at a different, how do you @Jonny G expect Poweramp or any offline music player to sort it? If you are really interested in knowing when a file added (in this case, not an album) use a file explorer, but make sure you add them in a folder. Bencherished
  16. Max, thanks for adding material you in Poweramp, I no longer use any third party skin app, Poweramp comes up beautiful with every new wallpaper. Bencherished.
  17. I wish Poweramp can queue sounds (Automatically) with same beat and tempo after the first song is selected (by the listener) if possible, then increase or decrease the speed (if there is any betweenthe songs) to match the outgoing song and gradually return to normal tempo. Bencherished
  18. In as much as I am not against any request, I think I will not use this feature, gapless playback is one, if not the first feature that brings people to Poweramp before sound and interface. My own request, I wish Poweramp can queue sounds with same beat and tempo after the first song is selected (by the listener) if possible, increase or decrease the speed to match the outgoing song and gradually return to normal tempo. 19. The problem is caused by the audio output, you are probably using Aaudio, Hi-Res should be selected, to me, Aaudio sounds superior but the issue of no sound after calls, made me switch to Hi-Res. To restore sound when this happens, just go to phone settings and force stop Poweramp, that's if you want to continue using Aaudio. Bencherished
  20. No, I just want to slow your curiosity before the cat dies 😜🤪
  21. Next week, middle of the month 😬
  22. Yes, that is what happens and I don't like it, and don't think it can be changed. You know, like every other music player, Poweramp also identify songs (files) by their tags, so if a tag is edited, it is seen as a new file. Bencherished
  23. @maxmp I changed my sd card from 128gb to 512gb, before swapping, I did a backup, all boxes were selected. I copied everything from old sd card as if it was cloned, but when I imported the backup, most played miss a lot of tracks. Bencherished
  24. @thomasTS has the issue been resolved? If not, try playing without the wired connection, I am suspecting the radio app is conflicting with Poweramp, if that is the case, you have to change the wired headphone, it is sending the command to the radio app, thats why Poweramp is stop I guess.
