  1. It will be so painful to not being able to copy songs or download then move it to any other folder.
  2. I strongly believe that the issue has been resolved in 930, because I don't see how installing and uninstalling EQ would have solved problem. I am really happy with this development. I am requesting this should also work with the phone screen off.
  3. @andrewilley I only tried the Poweramp equalizer app the first time it was released, back then, I asked for the difference between the one on main music player and the stand alone EQ, I was told that the EQ app is for those that want to use it for other media player, and moreover, most of the features will be ported to main player, so I unstalled it even before my trial period was over. I will reinstall the EQ app and turn off that settings you mentioned to see if it will help, although I did not use the EQ app on this phone (Samsung galaxy m51) but I did transfer with s switch from the galaxy m30, but at that time, EQ app has been uninstalled. Maybe the settings was copied over? ---- I downloaded the EQ app and tested the Vol- pause and vol+ resume, and it worked, but that was because, EQ app volume (default) is set @ 50, I don't know where to increase to 100, and that is what I use in the main player for smooth Vol increase. If I should use Vol step 50 in Poweramp, the volume pause and resume track feature will function, but I don't like the drastic change in volume level, what I do now is flip the phone over for pause, and again for resume,(Tasker). I should say that with the EQ app, Poweramp sounded different, although both apps eq were on. ---- Wow, I just noticed something, I disabled pause/resume on Vol, on both apps, and re-enabled it on Poweramp and it worked Flawlessly, what I want to do now is uninstall the EQ and see what happens. ---- I have uninstalled the EQ and the feature is working, the next step is to extend the feature to function with display off and whenever Poweramp is playing audio, or make it as a feature that can be turn off for those that use multiple media player, for me I don't, thanks to Samsung for making it possible to uninstall most pre-installed apps like their music player.
  4. Yes it can, you can use AutoTagger to embed the album art to your files, or use Poweramp to download album art, but that is temporary (it doesn't move with the file.
  5. What version are you using? Use version 928 Change these settings. Auto Advance Fading = No Fading Manual Track Change Fading = no fading Play /Pause /Stop Fade length = 10ms Seek Fade Length = 10ms
  6. Just force stop the app, then use Hi-Res output, Not Aaudio, if not same issue will occur, I have experienced it before after call with Aaudio output.
  7. @andrewilley I'm excited by this update, it makes the app look fresh. That issue has not been resolved, resuming of playback when raising the volume again after lowering the level to zero.
  8. Build 928: is a great upgrade, the problem with the timer has been resolved. Working Flawlessly.
  9. Thanks Max. This is a huge step (update} shuffle option is working, the search for setting is functional again.
  10. @Zorak Even though it's a nice feature to have when it comes to keeping your music library, I will suggest using a third party app for that job, and Poweramp focus on playing the music. What you are asking for will include so many programs, file editor, file browser, music identification through sound and text, lyrics and album art grabber, etc. Most of these programmes will hinder the smooth operation of the app, and they are not frequently used. I am not in for this request
  11. @Juan Rincon I noticed same issue of adding multiple tracks to queue in version 925 and 926. I reported even though I was not sure how to reproduce the problem. I changed a setting in Library - Search - Search Track Title Only. (disable) I have not experienced it again
  12. @Geoff456 try updating to 926, what happens with the timer in this version is, it stops decreasing if you pause playback, and it will reset and start counting from beginning of timer whenever you resume playback, but music stops when timer elaps.
  13. Feb-14--2022-5-28-45-PM.Poweramp-backup. if you did not change the name when backing up, that is how the name of the backup will look like, I don't know the default location but usually in phone memory. Just check folders you have given Poweramp permission, at the bottom.
  14. In this version 926, when I search for an artist and play a song from the artist in an album, then add songs to queue or play next from the The artist same album or different album, then check queue, I see duplicate of songs, I have noticed it before but I was not sure how it happened. I have found what was adding duplicate to queue, in search results option, I deactivated play tracks only.
  15. Yes it's true, nothing happens in the settings search, and long pressing the (settings, change log, help) menu takes me to third party skin settings instead of search for Poweramp settings..
  16. Go to settings, Look and feel, then choose another one from the list you prefer.
  17. I also prefer getting update from play store because of download size, but the excitement of seeing what is new won't let me wait for their delay.
  18. Number of volume level, on my phone I see default, 30, 51, 76 and 101. I noticed it from build no 922, and it's also present in 923, It's not a problem just want to point it out. Also when I was on settings - Audio - Output - Hi-Res - Bluetooth - DVC for Bluetooth page, the volume was going back and forth. (press up or down volume continuesly)
  19. I think another option should be added to the library list. A category for the currently playing list, where you can see songs to be played, especially when shuffle all songs is set and an option to edit the song order, just like in cue category.
  20. This is how some lawyers lose their case, by over condemning what they also do just because they want to prove their point. The way Poweramp displays album art on the main player screen, especially when combined with some effects, is one of those things that makes Poweramp (standout) beautiful. Moreover, the info/tags you can't setup to see on the main player screen is, year and composers. If any other one is missing, is probably not setup display or not tagged correctly.
  21. That is what is happening, if timer is set and you pause Music, exit and return and play music, timer starts all over.
  22. @andrewilley I am not in for this request at all. The idea will make Poweramp look horrible. Just see how the first image is looking. My opinion will be to have the album art change the colours of the button, navigation button and seek bar.
  23. What the timer is doing is very funny, I set 15 minutes timer while a song is playing, then I let the song continue for 2 minutes, song is still playing, exited the app and opened chrome and back to Poweramp, checked timer (still counting down) paused music exited Poweramp open Chrome and back to Poweramp, timer was active but not counting, I did not deactivate the timer I pressed play, music was playing I checked the timer, timer have started counting down from 15 minutes previously set. So what the timer is doing is, if you set the timer, at any given point (timer is active) and you pause the music and exit the app and you reopen the app and press play, the time I will start counting from the previous set time, (15 minutes) and start all over.
  24. I have not taken the time to monitor the timer during pause, what I have tried is, tick and un-tiick play last song, and it has been working. Let me use this opportunity to ask, how is the timer supposed to behave? Is it supposed to continue counting even when the music is not playing? In my own opinion I would like it to count even though the music is not playing so that it will keep up with real time, independent whether the music is playing or not, five minutes should be five minutes timer not following the music playback. I will get back to you.
