  1. @andrewilley I have attempted to fix that little icon quite awhile ago but was not able to find the artifact. As for the sizing, misalignment occurs when scaling is applied. I may have to revert to using font sizes.
  2. V119 has been released . A new feature has ben added called Car Mode. You will find it in the Miscellaneous menu
  3. The only skin you will ever need. The most configurable skin currently available The forum administrator describes it as follows: "a Swiss Army Knife of skins, which is really what it is - it doesn't present you with one new finished and polished interface, but a set of tools to build your own look" Available now on Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=skins.v3.Poweramp.apowerampskin&hl=en If you have any queries, simply email me.
  4. No, it will be suspended forever Google's response: For auditing purposes, we won't be able to reinstate or remove apps that have been suspended due to policy violations. You'll need to upload the policy compliant app with a new package name and a new app name. Please note that repeated violations may result in a suspension of your Google Play Developer account
  5. I was using graphics which were not allowed so it was suspended
  6. Google have decided that words such as Free and "probably the most" etc are no longer allowed so .... App was renamed to The Other YAPS. I have just released a new free version based on the latest V165 of $YAPS$. Some functionality has been disabled - scaling of albumart - landscape options car and reflected mode - some Poweramp play buttons - some miniplayer gradient backgrounds - some waveseek objects - some spectrums - repositioning left/right hand side of volume sliders - sizing of Play button - "move track duration and elapsed time below seekbar" removed - some background patterns removed To get the full blown app, you can always support the developer and buy $YAPS$
  7. @andrewilley under android10 you can still allow permissions at root level. Under 11, each folder access must be explicitly given. As this is still early days for 11 i am sure they will have to reverse some of this. Their text reads "to further enhance the... " I read this as "to fix the balls up we made with 10..."
  8. @PowerMilk, to save you a lot of trouble, android10 and above only allow you to read or write in your apps own folder. (Scoped storage). With Storage Access Framework It gets even worse under android11 where you cannot select the root folder to set permissions to allow your app access. The user would need to browse to the appropriate folder using the awful "File Picker" which is not intuitive at all. Whether you can actually get to the Poweramp folders, i am not sure. I will test this using my new playlist manager app.
  9. I suppose that mobile android devices are more used for things like banking, payments etc so more security is probably agood thing. Thing that bugs me is that their documentation is so useless that developers end up having "to figure" it out for themselves. My programming skills are probably above average but I am unable to keep up with google's (often poorly implemented) changes.
  10. Android 10 and 11 permissions will break a lot of apps. I predict that google will row back on this
  11. To clarify, .m3u playlists do not have an id in the Poweramp media database so you need to ensure Poweramp is able to scan the folder where you have them. It will recognise them and rebuild a new internal playlist which will have an id and will be displayed in my app
  12. New Playlist Manager has options to create relative path based playlist. 😃
  13. Old vinyl double album by Boudewijn de Groot https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boudewijn_de_Groot
  14. I will check them out https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conqueror_(Band-Maid_album)
  15. A pointless exercise imho as you would need to copy all your tracks to the emulator. You cannot expose your nas or map local drives
  16. You mean Poweramp v2 and Poweramp v3? Well you can see that for yourself of course. As for skins, skins for Poweramp v2 no longer work on Poweramp v3 so any v3 skins have been specifically designed to work with Poweramp v3. All you can do to approximate the v2 look is to customise a v3 skin. My skins are the most configurable so they would be your best bet.
  17. @Lorendil, it is really up to you. As i have shown in screenshots, you can create your own preferred look. Just experiment ans see what you like best. Play about with playbuttons and colours, hide or show components. Post your preferred outcome in this thread if you want
  18. Yet another Poweramp skin, links in my signature
  19. Try $yaps$ you can easily achieve the view you want. It has many options to hide or show artifacts
  20. There is a link in Poweramp itself. Changelog, and on the bottom of the release detail, translations, a big thanks to our crowdin translators. The link is on the word translators
  21. @MotleyG very nice 😎, if you set navbar (and android navbar) to transparent and album blur on it will blow your mind
  22. @drawersystem you can choose to use like/unlike, ratings from 1 to 5 or hide them alltogether. It is an option. The default is like/unlike but the first thing i do on a new Poweramp install is to switch to ratings.
  23. Get the latest pa version 842 and put that somewhere . Now reflect the full path including the filename in the gradle build for example: aaptOptions { additionalParameters "--package-id", "0x80", "-I", "F:\\Android\\Android\\APK\\Poweramp\\Poweramp-v3-build-842-uni.apk" }
