  1. @John Titor by the same token some skins replace the Poweramp flash for missing albumart. This would also rate as undesirable Although the whole subject under discussion is fairly trivial, thinking about it some more, I believe the fact it is skinnable is probably intentional. A user is well aware that he/she is using Poweramp but not necessarily which skin is active. As many users have multiple skins installed, the display of the skin name is therefore, in my opinion, a good idea.
  2. @giannisgx89 i agree, as it is available for "skinning" we can change it.
  3. @John Titor the next release will be after i have skinned the new parametric sliders in line with background and button options selected. At the moment it is too hot to sit in front of my pc 😎😎😎
  4. @John Titor yes, of course this is possible but I think it looks nicer with it hidden. As it is such a small thing, not really worth adding an option for this
  5. Update on the exporting/importing of settings it appears to work. I have to redo the locations for the music folders but otherwise it seems to work. Imports only on purchased version so not ideal from a development point of view as I build virtual devices using the 2 weeks grace period. Once this expires I rebuild the device from scratch
  6. @andrewilley it could still be useful for skin testing purposes. I will ask some users to send me theirs
  7. Was I the only one that did not know ??? @MotleyGpointed out that you can save your skin settings Settings, scroll to the bottom, Export Settings. All your $Yaps$ skin settings will be saved too (and restored of course when importing)
  8. @MotleyG as i do not use or have access to android auto, any help in terms of functionality, look and feel, screen mock ups would be useful. Perhaps in a separate thread. I will create one
  9. @greynolds i looked back over earlier conversations. Although the development environment has an android auto emulator, it does not run Poweramp unfortunately. I am considering to create another app, based upon bigyapss, purely for android auto
  10. @greynolds if your display is diffferent than the screenshot, drop me an email with model etc of your device. Better still, send me a screenshot using my dimension utility which you can download here
  11. @greynolds you must have tried car mode or reflective layout? Do they not meet your needs?. Alternatively there is a free skin bigyaps, big play buttons, no albumart.
  12. @Arcendus @chiascuro that is why my app New Playlist Manager does this, it reads mp3 ratings tags and updates ratings in Poweramp. You can then back these up or restore them
  13. I must say how little feedback there is , perhaps only a few dedicated users are interested? Why not post your design and settings ?
  14. @JunoMarian something like this? you can go from square to round on albumart, volume slider below albumart, replace seekbar, left vertical or right vertical.
  15. @Prosenjit interesting, I may give this (seekbar and play buttons) a go as it does not seem impossible to me
  16. @Glenn Watson or hide it completely and show some interesting spectrum instead or nothing at all. For a really clean look you can hide the seekbar and 4 buttons too. All with my $yaps$ skin.
  17. @reasonable memory tags are irrelevant for this. If i understand correctly, you want to know if a particular track on a playlist is on another? My app npm has that feature
  18. @thepants if you have my app and you have executed "Tags and Ratings", "Update Poweramp Rating from tag" then your ratings will show. The program I recommended appears to have been hijacked so I have removed the reference
  19. @Subrat Naik there are af few items that will require styling but so far there have been no requests for this. I will spend the time and effort though if there is an interest
  20. You get a nice effect when setting backgrounds and circle gradients of the same colours. In this example I have chosen Lime Gradient for the buttons and different Lime colours for the circles. and for Teal
  21. Version 148 has been released. Setting certain fields to transparent no longer misbehaves. However, circles and transparent fields cannot coexist so you will lose any coloured/gradient circles(borders) Any issues please email me rather than posting here
  22. @MotleyG yes, the same range of colours is available. My main issue at the moment is when transparent background is selected for certain items as the border (stroke) is not really a border but an underlying layer which sticks out a little bit(the thickness the user sets in Fine Tune. Circles). When you the set the top layer to transparent, the underlying gradient layer shows. Currently working on how best to resolve this
