Album Art Size Increase

Recommended Posts

Is there any option to scale the album art to full size like second screenshot shows?

Is it possible to move 3 dot button

(using PA V3 Build 823)

There is a pinch/zoom prepared and might be activated , or so Maxmp said.

As to the button, there might be skins that do that.

Those images are from completely differently sized screens, there is far less screen area on the left-hand image than there is on the right.

Although that said, I personally would prefer more screen space to be given over to the artwork anyway - and if necessary to do that, PA should make the graphic representation behind the button area smaller. It's very pretty, but it's basically just eye-candy at the end of the day, and a better view of the actual track artwork would be more useful to the user.

Thanks,

So basically you're saying it depends on screen sizes.

If I use a skin will that do the job of scaling the album art ?

Yes, some skins prioritise the content differently, but it's hard to be certain how each one will react to different resolutions and screen sizes. Give a few a try. Also, turning off Alternate Layout may help, as would switching to the old style static seekbar which takes up less space.

Does anyone know if this, if it is in the works, will be a general zoom-setting option that will apply to all songs played?

@Malagant it's technically easily possible (to store pinch-to-zoom scale), though it won't help scenario in @Acb_Ezio post, as there is just no enough space for square album art on some device screens. Zooming it will move top cover part out of screen or overlap labels (the "alternative layout" is trying to avoid that by forcing labels below album art). Still, it will be added as optional feature (+ manual scale bar in settings, as previously in v2).

I have another question, it is partly 'off topic' perhaps but I post it here (instead of making a separate post) since it concerns Album Art Size, but for the Poweramp widget.

I am using the v3 4 x 1 Poweramp widget and have tried the various setting-options included in the widget, but the widget album art size always seems to change between

songs and sometimes even when playing the same song, the widget album art beginning as 'large' and then turning 'small'. I currently use Style 5, Background Opacity 0

and Shadow Opacity 0. Is there a setting or some 'tweaking' I can use to keep the widget album art permanently 'large' in the v3 4 x 1 Poweramp widget?
