  2. Hi there, I'm here to ask to support full date in sorting and grouping. If you have a tons of album from the same year it can be problematic to sort or group albums by year (plus this can be useful in the album view for artists with significant output in a single year, cfr. this). This can be implemented using the id3v2.3 tag TDAT or the id3v2.4 tag TDRC. A short summary (from id3 specification): TDAT:The 'Date' frame is a numeric string in the DDMM format containing the date for the recording. This field is always four characters long. TDRC: The 'Recording time' frame contains a timestamp describing when the audio was recorded. [...] The timestamp fields are based on a subset of ISO 8601. When being as precise as possible the format of a time string is yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss (year, "-", month, "-", day, "T", hour (out of 24), ":", minutes, ":", seconds), but the precision may be reduced by removing as many time indicators as wanted. Hence valid timestamps are yyyy, yyyy-MM, yyyy-MM-dd, yyyy-MM-ddTHH, yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm and yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss. All time stamps are UTC. The TDAT tag was changed to the TDRC one in id3v2.4, but I suggest to support both of them (probably most of the time only one of those will be present, not both), since most of other players/taggers support only TDAT (probably due to parsing criticalities related to the variable timestamp length of TDRC). I myself use the TDAT tag only, it's just way more straightforward and more supported. If those fields are not present then a timestamp like "YYYY-01-01" can be inserted in the internal DB, as many others do in this case. I know that it will need a full rescan of the user music library to function properly, but by settings "YYYY-01-01" as the default timestamp this won't affect or break anything, since the fallback sorting will always be the alphanumerical order (as it is right now). Thank you for your job and have a happy new year! Related request: Choose Metadata Field for Year Сортировка альбомов
  3. Hi guys. Please suggest me a id3 tag search app for Android which can automatically find composers for my songs. I've already tried Automa tag editor and auto tag editor, those apps are really good for tagging mp3 files but none of these apps doesn't search for composers. They only find title, album name, artist, and track no. I need an app which can automatically search for composers for songs. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  4. I listen to rap music and most of my music is in the form of mixtapes. Many of which have a DJ and quite a few have multiple DJs. As there isn't a "Disc Jockey" tag, I add them to the Composer tag. I'd appreciate being able use symbols (semicolons [ ; ], etc.) to separate multiple entries within the Composer tag, the same as can be done with the "Genre" tag. Thank you.
  5. Hello Poweramp is the best player out there so far. Lots of important features are there, really nice modern design, and pretty easy to use But it would be awesome, if you would support multiple artists (like in collaborations). In mp3tag editor you input this like »Artist 1\\Artist 2« and the editor is then saving the same tag twice with either name in it. Windows displays those Artists correctly seperated like »Artist 1; Artist 2«. Poweramp should seperate them too, currently it's displayed like »Artist 1 Artist 2« combined like one name and listed like that as a seperate entry in the library too. Creates a mess and you can't find all songs of one artist including the collaborations. I think, this is important, since collaborations are a common thing. same goes for other multi-entry fields like Genre, Album Artist etc. involving the same method. Please update that 🙇🏽‍♂️
  6. I'm running Poweramp v3 build-853 on a FiiO M6 DAP. It's unable to read the tags on some of files in my ALAC collection. I've tried to edit the tags from within Poweramp, but nothing changes upon saving the tags. If it matters, files are stored on MicroSD. The tags are readable by the native FiiO Music app on the M6 and iTunes, xld, kid3 and MusicBrainz Picard on my Mac. I've attached a couple of these files for testing here (ZIP Archive).
  7. Can we show all the title of the song like it was before? That the title keep passing trough all the display? Grettings
