Background Blur and Details

A question about the background settings:

It seems that if I set "Background Blur" to maximum, it has roughly the same effect as if I set "Background Details" to about 70% between "Solid Color" and "Detailed".

So both settings basically do the same, only with different intensity ?

If I'm right and both settings basically do the same I would suggest to remove "Background Blur", as everthing can be done with "Background Details", the stronger of the two.

Background blur option defines number of blur shader passes over image (expensive in GPU terms but fast on modern devices anyway).

Background details option defines the resolution of the cover image before blur shader.

Some setting combinations may produce visually similar effects, as you noticed, but these options control different aspect of background processing, thus, they are separated.
