John Titor
When the screen is locked/sleeping and with Poweramp playing music, idk why the sound sounds as if it's breaking up. Like how it sounds when you are on a call with someone with poor internet connection. Sound output seems to be throttled. I am using v893, android 10 MIUI 12. I will send a log soon with a link to this thread.
John Titor
I note that I exempted Poweramp of MIUI battery optimization. And everything sounds normal if I just wake up my screen. ✅ Sent the email with log Edited February 16, 2021 by Someguyonline
andrewilley
It does sounds like CPU throttling, is there a setting which does that when the device screen goes to sleep? What about if you try a less intensive output method if you are using hi-res? Andre

John Titor
It seems it happens with other music players as well. It didn't used to happen before, so I probably messed something up when installing early updates of System apps. I need to figure out what tho. 🤔😩 Edited February 25, 2021 by Someguyonline
