Now Playing screen with wider seekbar and volume

Recommended Posts

The basic skins provided with the app are there to generically support all devices in as simple and elegant a way as possible. Third-party skins tend to provide more of the bells and whistles and fancy gimmicks later.

You may not like YAPS, but it is by far the most flexible and configurable Poweramp skin I've come across, and it's the one I choose for daily use. It can do exactly what you asked for - you can even adjust the position, size, etc and hide/show pretty much every element on the main Player Screen, almost down to a pixel level. However it's probably better to think of it as the Swiss Army Knife of skins; it may not be the prettiest or easiest out the box, but if you take a bit of time to dig through its huge range of options you can do an awful lot with it.

As for Smart / Dynamic Playlists, that's a completely different subject and to avoid further fragmentation and confusion it's probably best to discuss that in one of the multiple existing threads as per the Frequently Requested Features List.

@andrewilley yaps is the worst Poweramp skin

@Henry Danzel A little harsh, coming from a simple request to add a wider seekbar and add a volume slider. The Yaps skin can do both of these, and can easily be configured to otherwise mirror one of the basic default Poweramp skins.

Feel free to design your own skin and share it with the community here.

This sort of modification to the Player Screen can be achieved using skins. YAPS for example is very configurable.

a built-in volume slider on the player ui would be good though, to replace the volume knob that it's not too intuitive.
