camiqolin
I am using eq, and DVC, though I am wondering if I need to then also enable the limiter. I have applied the appropriate amount of preamp (pregain), so clipping shouldn't be an issue. Should I enable the limiter as a clipping precaution or is it not needed? andrewilley
As long as you aren't pushing the EQ settings (e.g. bass) up too high, and by the sounds of it you are applying a negative preamp gain anyway to compensate, there should be no need to enable the limiter. But it would only kick in if the output would be getting up to 100% digital max anyway, so you would not notice it unless it is needed.
