  1. Is it possible to tunnel audio from the other sources through awesome Poweramp audio engine? Maybe audio engine can be released through a separate app? I know there are other apps that tries to do this but are not even close to Poweramp audio engine. I do know Viper4Android and such other engines but they require root. Maybe dev can provide this non-root solution to the world.
  2. So, in my audio class, i'm learning that most modern recording is done in 88.2kHz, or 176.4kHz. These are multiples of 44.1kHz, and thus cross-sampling will not occur when exporting to red-book cd format. Even on a 192kHz DAC, cross-sampling still occurs with 44.1, 88.2 and 176.4 files because 192kHz is not in the red-book cd family of sample rates (multiples of 44.1kHz). I'm almost positive that most of the recent DACs (external, and built in) out there are capable of supporting these sample rates.
  3. I like the player, very nice. I like music in high quality and fidelity. So I chose Poweramp. One suggestion: Add a noise meter and dynamic range. Just as the loud warning, a warning noise of the song playing. Something like this: It is a matter of taste if you prefer compressed music. But throughout that it produces negative effects on the ear. It would help to make it even better player. Poweramp rules!
  4. Does Poweramp support 24 bit hardware support? I read that the player supports 24 bit 96khz files, but again will it output at least 24 bit 44.1/48Khz?
