SpiritedWolfTH
I don't know if it's Bluetooth related or this particular issue but, I had issues since I have upgraded my phone to Android 12 (Pixel 4a). My car is a Versa 2007 so, I don't have a stock smart dashboard. So, I use a bluetooth adaptor. On top of taking a while to connect since the OS update every second attempts, the music just stop playing. So, while I'm driving, I just turn off and back on my bluetooth adaptor and it starts again. Please note that the last time below, I *never* pressed the pause button. So, if it says that PA received a PAUSE command, that's not me. If it's not that, it's a bluetooth issue. Thank you. CaptainKishimoto
So I noticed that when it keeps pausing and trying to play again, it seems to trying to use a different source? Also kind of looks like that based on the logs I posted earlier (or that could be something else, I'm no expert). One thing I tried doing was changing my BT AVRCP/MAP version to their defaults and so far things seem to be running better. Not sure if that helps at all or not. andrewilley
@SpiritedWolfTH That log covers a period of over an hour so a bit tricky to see any particular issue. Could you try clearing the log and doing whatever causes the problem (ideally noting any timings so its possible to match actions with what shows in the log) and then immediately check the log again. CaptainKishimoto
So I fixed the issue. Disabling Media Audio on BT fixed it.

This prompted me to check the Media audio toggle for my car's BT device - which is disabled, yet I have this issue too and it's intermittent. What's more: Poweramp seems to arbitrarily decide that sometimes it's going to use one kind of output and other times another for audio; there's a noticeable difference in volume output between what it should be using (increasing/decreasing system volume has no affect on playback in the car) vs when it falls back on another output (directly affected by the system volume level).
