I would like to see batch editing for id3 tags currently only able to change one tag at a time.

You can use a proper tag editor on PC  like tag scanner or if you are interested in android app i suggest Autotagger app it supports many features I'm using it for many years to be honest the only app i found which accurately recognise Indian music from 90s

The app is free but need 2 separate purchase to use advanced features

Already own a mp3 tagger ideally would like it adding as a new feature request. Have been recently sorting my songs into years by date released using the genre as the year category.

Would be easier having it incorporated into Poweramp than using stand alone tagger especially when you have over thirty thousand songs to sort

Poweramp is not intended as full file or tag management app, it is a music player. You would be better using a tag management app (either on your phone or a PC; I use TagScanner on my computer).

Automatag is a good tag editor which I would like to recommend.
