garak1971
Just purchased Poweramp- and I'm very disappointed- because Poweramp can't read many id3 tags from mp3 files, other players can do so. I've purchased music from amazon, google play music and iTunes. I tried re-tagging- no success! please fix this, it's a very serious bug!
flyingdutchman
Unlikely it is Poweramp at fault. Other players may be more generous when reading tags. However, did you try and edit tags using Poweramp? Long click albumart, select Info/Tags, See if the tags show properly there. You can also edit them. w3wilkes
I have some MP3 music purchased from Amazon and PA has no trouble with the tags. Are you sure you have PA pointed to the correct folder where all your music is on your device?
andrewilley
Are the files scanning into Poweramp's Library but not showing any tag info at all (so all you see when you play them is the filename), or are they not showing up in the library at all? Have you tried a Full Rescan in Settings > Library ? If the same files consistently cause this issue, can you upload a couple of samples so they can be checked? Have you tried correcting the tags in a program like TagScanner or MP3tag to see if that fixes the problem? Andre
