@andrewilley I have had 1 other report on this. not sure what might be causing this

Anybody out there using the Retro Black skin with a different language. Does the text on the play buttons change according to your language or does it remain in English

@andrewilley to be honest, the time and effort spent on creating and maintaining a skin does not make it commerciallly viable at all so I can understand why Ductamine no longer appears to maintain them. In the meantime, I am giving it a go to create something similar using Adobe Illustrator. Anyone out there who is able to provide vector graphics similar to the ones showing in the retro skin please get in touch.

@andrewilley not sure what i can do about this. I did remove you from the testers in the hope it would revert to normal.

@Ash Roarshock these lssues were fixed in the latest version, please check you have v184 installed

For what it is worth, I have added the path as a criteria to use when creating smart playlists so you can create your own dynamic playlists based on folder locations. One more contribution from me on having to pay for "yet another" app, 1. functionality other than basic functions, that should be in an app, is a personal opinion 2. different/competing products in the market place are the result of differentiation. Each tries to gain market share by offering something different/unique by extension, if you like something in other players like Rocket player and PlayerPro do you then contact those developers with for instance the fact that they should at least have the same sound quality or equaliser functionality as Poweramp ( differentiators imho), as quality of sound is something you would expect in a music player

@Mark89 sorry to butt in again but i did develop dynamic playlists. You build a smart query playlist, link that to a playlist, you can either initiate an update of all your smart playlists or set it so it checks on startup. On the issue of having to pay for another, if we follow your train of thought, max should build all those different skins too

@Aaron Caldwell try and switch to rating stars view. Thumbs down should show as 1, thumbs up as 5. If they are missing then Poweramp has rebuilt its media database , eg through a full rescan . My app music playlist manager can show the ratings distribution in Poweramp in one go. Criteria, Ratings

Although I have been unable to state the precise issue, the stacktrace seemed to indicate an issue with the pause button. Action taken was to revert to V177 graphics as this release appears to be stable. During testing, again no problems were encountered. If this release still does not fix the issue for some users, I would greatly appreciate some stacktrace logs. Without them I cannot resolve this as I cannot reproduce this myself Anybody interested in trying to get to the bottom of this by using adb.exe which stands for Android Debug Bridge. It is a tool whereby you can monitor what is happening on your android device. Please follow this link:https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/ Once installed launch the cmd window and type adb.exe logcat and launch the Yaps skin. You will see a lot of messages flying by so to capture these try adb.exe logcat > C:\temp\yapslogcat.txt Once the error has happened, CTRL C to stop the output and email the file to me

Thanks to k3dAR who sent me a stacktrace, I hope I have been able to fix the issue of the skin not loading for some users. A new release has been put on Play Store V182

Version 181 is now available on Google Play. As always, if you have any misalignments, email me with make/model of your device

@Ash Roarshock I am rolling back to V177 and reapply (some of ) the changes. Once at this level I can deal with your specific points again.. The failing of the V180 is due to the new rounded buttons. Poweramp has an issue in displaying them. A new test version will appear which hopefully gets it back on track. Anyone wishing to test this please send me your email address so I can add you to the list of testers
