  1. @Wolksby it appears i was mistaken. I assumed Date added would use the column I mentioned above.
  2. @Wolksby i just checked and Poweramp itself has a sort option by date added. Once you select this option, sorting will be ok
  3. @andrewilley the point here is that playlists get created with 1,2,3 appended to the name. the sorting for these strings does not follow numeric sorting rules hence my solution to sort by creation time. This way they will always be in the exptected order in my app Music Playlist Manager. However, viewed in Poweramp they will show as the sorted example for example playlist 1 playlist 2 playlist 3 playlist 4 playlist 5 playlist 6 playlist 7 playlist 8 playlist 9 playlist10 playlist 11 when sorted gives playlist 1 playlist 10 playlist 11 playlist 2 playlist 3 playlist 4 playlist 5 etc
  4. @tomfox Unless you have your music strewn across many folders, your approach makes sense but it is of course more practical to bring all music in 1 folder called say "Music". It will save a lot of time and effort in the long run. In android 11 and above, the new security model applies to all apps, even your other music apps
  5. @tomfox Poweramp only needs access to your music folders (and its own folders). The new security world in android is such that any app can only access folders (read/write) that the user allows. As maxmp points out above, the root (top level) and downloads are protected so you cannot choose these. So yes you need to select as many folders as you think you need. Generally people have their music in one folder with many subfolders (eg artists for example). All you need to select is this main music folder
  6. @mark586 you could also use my external app music playlist manager which gets its data directly from the Poweramp database. Under Criteria it has an option "times played"
  7. In the next release of YAPS: Set your own colours for the Button arc
  8. @Mr. Max something skins can easily implement. I can certainly put this on the todo list for YAPS
  9. @10BS Yaps is something that evolved over time and is largely a result of user input and experimenting. The skin applies techniques no other skins have, eg a choice of spectrums on the main ui, special landscape layouts ( useful when driving ) and so on. It certainly is not an "off the peg select your colour" skin. It is really down to the user to get the best look and feel and it will require imagination as the combinations are limitless. I fully understand that some users may be daunted by this and prefer a different choose and click approach.
  10. @andrewilley i have not seen any widgets/artifacts for channel separation in the development kit.
  11. @water, As it happens, I just released a new version of Music Playlist Manager where you can select "on which playlist" for a track. It will then show the playlist(s) where this track is found. The user can subsequently load that playlist, either play it directly in Poweramp or add it to the Queue
  12. @Vineeth.gk@gmail.com this is the sort of functionality I have provided with Music Playlist Manager. You can build your own query, save it and even link it to a particular playlist. You can then either rerun this query manually or set to to run on startup. Any changes in your music library will thus be reflected in the playlist. for example At the moment the last played date is not in the list but if it is available in Poweramp then I can add it too.
  13. @andrewilley yes, interpret is german for artist
  14. @Rocinante Colour Options, Icon Colour. There is also an option to set the icon colour for the unselected state. As for your other issue, please send me a screenshot in an email
  15. @Manoj Goswami Music Playlist Manager allows you to rate tracks in library view, simply swipe the stars
  16. @andrewilley or to make it really easy, use Music Playlist Manager which has a button to generate random playlists. The user can set the maximum number of tracks for the playlist. The playlist will immediately show in Poweramp
  17. @andrewilley I cannot reproduce this. I suspect this is connected to some other setting. Could you post your skin settings so I can test this on my devices
  18. @andrewilley something to go on. I have seen it but cannot reproduce it at will. I will verify the style definitions
  19. @andrewilley yes, I have come across it toobutwould have absolutely no idea where to look to resolve this.
