jmh1900
Poweramp mixes up albums with the same name but different artists. Album list: Only one album shows in list, other album is missing. Artist list: One artist's album will show album art from the wrong album. Genre list: If in same genre, only one album shows in list, other album is missing. If in different genres, each album will show in its own genre list but one will have album art from the wrong album. In any case, when one album is selected the tracks from both albums are mixed together. Poweramp version: 2.0.10-build-588-play (Full Version) Android version: 5.0.
flyingdutchman
This behaviour is a result of the information held on the mp3 id3v2 tags. Use an mp3 tagger app such as audiotagger and edit artist, album and set albumart. Albumart is obtained from amazon and you can select the right one. For album title, i would change it so it is slightly different for one of them, eg add year or something. Save and check in pa. They should now show correctly
andrewilley
Yes, at present if the title is the same then Poweramp considers it to be the same thing when sorted by title. Sorting by artist will separate them of course. The best thing at the moment is to just avoid the clashes completely by setting the title field to something unique (e.g. don't just use "Greatest Hits", but use "ABBA's Greatest Hits", "Coldplay's Greatest Hits", etc). This is pretty trivial to do in a batch tag editor on a computer. Andre
