Jonny G
Hi all, In the absence of a full Titanium Backup solution on my now non-rooted car headunit, I'm wondering if I can backup the PA library, as I have mentioned in previous posts, I have a nearly full 512GB card inserted and it takes rather a long time to do a full scan. I've looked in android/data/com.maxmpz.audioplayer but it only seems to contain album art and milk visualisers. Thanks! Quote Translate Revert translation? andrewilley
No, the full Library music database cannot be backed up other than by rooted devices. Not really much point, as the paths would probably change for any new or reset devices anyway. A Full Rescan should only be needed once though. For a new installation, you need to assign permissions again and then rescan fully, then you can import the rest of your settings, artwork, etc from an earlier backup file. Jonny G
Understood, however do you know the path for the library please? In the past despite not being rooted I've managed to get by using particular file managers. Quote Translate Revert translation? andrewilley
Max would be able to confirm, but I assume it'd be in something like (root) /data/data/com.maxmpz.audioplayer . I really wouldn't try to mess with it though. Andre Quote Translate Revert translation?
