Bhaveshpa
What is the difference between using Tone and low shelf on param Eq ?
andrewilley
You could probably emulate a Tone adjustment via multiple EQ bands, but using multiple EQ sliders takes more effort than just turning a knob to boost the general lower or higher areas. Oh, and PA's Tone controls are boost-only, they cannot create negative gains like the sliders can. Andre
Bhaveshpa
Are Tone boosts similar to Low pass boosts via Eq? Cause both sound different to me Edited March 20 by Bhaveshpa

The bass and treble tone controls are exactly a shelf EQ, limited to boost only, and no adjustable frequency or Q.
