@Mukul Kalsait @Luis David García Solano  Thanks for the reports. There have been some changes made to the hi-res detection process, largely to help with issues in Android 13, but as with any beta-test release there may be unexpected repercussions too - that's the point of test releases, to find these sort of issues before unleashing changes on the whole market.

@Luis David García Solano Could you provide more details, such as the external USB DAC you are using and the Audio Outputs Detection Log (found in PA Settings=>Audio=>Advanced Tweaks).

The last stable release was build 939, which can be downloaded from:

If you want to roll back, you will need to do a full uninstall first, so please make sure you export/backup your Settings/Data first so you don't lose any internal playlists, ratings, etc. As you are going to have to perform a clean install anyway, could you perhaps first try clearing app data for 944, so it thinks it is a new installation, and see if the problems still persist before you roll back?

@Mukul Kalsait use Restore Defaults on your hi-res output. This should (probably, depending on ROM/device) enable No DVC option that will enable "real" hi-res, not just incorrect info as shown previously. The "issue" is mostly for Snapdragon based devices on Android 10-11 which are not capable to output hi-res + DVC on 3.5 and sometimes on USB or BT. Issue is in quotes as this is non-issue. For hi-res you don't want DVC.
