I much prefer the Queue vs the "normal" way PA works. When I clear the Queue and PA reverts to "something else" and then I add some chosen music to the Queue I must either finish listening to "something else" or change the Start Playing Queue option or hit the > (next) arrow on the now playing screen. andrewilley Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 Poweramp needs to have something that it considers to be the current song and playback category (even when paused or stopped) and if you delete the queue while it's playing then there is nothing left for PA to use, so it has no alternative but to return to normal playback mode from wherever you left off when you started the queue. One of the complications of trying to use the Queue in a manner other that the transient/temporary fashion in which it was designed I guess.
