murz42 Posted October 16, 2020 Share Posted October 16, 2020 Hello, I'd been using Poweramp for a long time before I discovered "Audio Info" section in the settings. I was quite surprised to see that my 96KHz source audio gets resampled down to 44.1 to be later passed to 96KHz output. I'm using Google Pixel 3a with stock Android + Poweramp (v3-build-882-arm64-play) + EarStudio ES100 MK2 (2.0.2). Any clues why resampler kicks in here? andrewilley Posted October 16, 2020 Share Posted October 16, 2020 Looks to me as though the BT transmission stage (i.e. PA's "Output" stage) is occurring at low res, even though the headset device may be capable of handling higher rates internally. @maxmp would be able to confirm though. murz42 Posted October 16, 2020 Author Share Posted October 16, 2020 Interesting, I used OpenSL ES Hi-Res Output with sample rate "Defined by the device". As soon as I switched to 96KHz sample rate resampler turned off but the actual output sample rate is 48KHz. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
