seaqn0
Hi Sorry in advance if I am posting this in the wrong forum section. I am using a Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie with Poweramp music player. And my brother gave me his Samsung AKG earbuds. The problem I have is that the volume button +, the + button puts the volume lower. Anyone know how to fix this? (I did read somewhere that it could be the earbuds jack or phone port. But I am just double checking on here)
andrewilley
Does this happen for all uses of the volume +/- buttons, or just in Poweramp? Andre
seaqn0
Thank you so much for the reply Andre!! Funny enough I thought it was working in other apps. But it is the same.. The main apps where I would like the + button to turn up the volume is in (Radio stock app on Asus Zenfone) and Poweramp. Just found out now it doesnt work in all my media apps. So everytime I push the + button specifically it puts the volume lower, including Youtube. Seems like its a software / hardware problem with Asus. Or the earbuds themselves are miswired, can you tried them on someone else's Android phone? Andre
seaqn0
Sadly i dont have another phone i can test with. But did try a 2nd pair of Samsung AKG headphones and it does the same thing. Pushing the + button lowers the volume. On all media apps.
andrewilley
Then it does sound like your Asus is interpreting the button functions in a different way to Samsung. Andre
