MotleyG
Any chance a lossless and hi-res indicator can be added to the Now Playing screen? Just a simple coloured dot that could indicate lossless, maybe use a couple of different colours for standard 16/24/32 bit combinations and sample rates? blaubär
You mean high resolution input ? Or output ? Or both ?

The indicator would be for the file type being played. Just a quick notification to indicate if the file is lossless or not.
andrewilley
Nearest you can get to that would be to tap on the Metadata line at the bottom of the player screen so it shows the file format. Not sure what you are going to do with the information if you had it though? Andre
MotleyG
@andrewilleyIt is more of a quick reference to check visually when hi-res is playing. I use the bottom bar to show the next song normally. The reason for the request was more to simulate what many of the DAP players do with their interface. This is again just a quick indication on screen to verify when listening to a higher resolution format. It is also being used to indicate MQA decoding on devices that support that as well, and I think it would be a nice enhancement to what PA does better already.
