  1. Thanks for the report then. Hopefully by the time v3 gets officially released, problems for which people have supplied the necessary information should be resolved. That probably won't be in the next (beta) release due in March though, as that release will be for testing the new user interface. Andre
  2. With what? You are testing an alpha-test release of a forthcoming app, it is not supported as yet as it is still in development. If you are free to revert to the regular build until v3 is officially released if you prefer. Andre
  3. Please remember you are testing an ALPHA-test product, not even beta-test yet. Your information will help with further development, but in the meantime if it is not working for you on your particular ROM please report the issue and revert to the release build. Andre
  4. I doubt this will be fixed on the next beta release (which will be basically the current code with a new user interface added) but hopefully by the time v3 is officially released Max will have been able to address all the various high-rez device requests. Andre
  5. Thanks. I've removed the duplicate post from a third thread. Andre
  6. Thanks for the report, but you have posted it in the list of working devices thread, it would be better to post it in the requests thread. I actually thought the Note 4 worked OK with Lollipop, so it could be an Android 6.x issue. Remember this is an alpha-test release, so if you are not happy with it please revert to the stable release build. Andre
  7. I'm sure these sort of issues will be fixed by the time PA v3 is officially released. However don't necessarily expect the next beta release to tackle these immediately as it will be for testing the new user interface. Also, please ensure that you are using build 704 of the alpha-test in the meantime (which had some Nougat modifications) as some people still seem to be using 703. Andre
  8. Please post the full details of your request in the requests thread. Thanks. Andre
  9. I'm sure it will be fixed in time for the official release, but please remember this is an ALPHA test build, not even beta test yet. While it's great that it generally works so well, newer Android releases (and especially non-stock ones) could easily break it. In case anyone's interested, I gather that the next build (the first beta test, due in March) will be pretty much the same underlying audio code that we currently have in 704 but with a completely rebuilt user interface. Once that's released and tested, Max will be able to return to bug fixes and high-rez device requests, etc. Andre
  10. In terms of streaming output, one I personally would like to see would be Sonos as their own app may handle access to multiple speakers well enough, but as a music selection tool it's utter rubbish (it can't even set sort orders, and the EQ control consists of a Bass and a Treble slider!) Andre
  11. DLNA/Chromecast/etc output won't be in the initial release version of Poweramp v3 (it would delay the release even further) but it is planned for the future. I can't say if/when cloud/NAS storage will be supported though. Andre
  12. I just had a message back from Max re: 7.0 Android compatibility issues with the current 704 alpha build: Andre
  13. Just checking, but you are using the latest build 704 aren't you? (it's a bit hidden at the bottom of the 703 page) Andre
  14. I don't know for sure on this, but I'm guessing that the extra headroom provided by higher bit resolution processing (32/64) and output, rather than just 16-bit throughout, would allow more gain to be applied safely without needing to limit it to avoid clipping. Andre
  15. Or rather, Poweramp alpha-test does not support the high-rez features on those devices as yet. Andre
  16. Please you post requests for high-rez support on your device or ROM to the appropriate thread http://forum.powerampapp.com/index.php?/topic/8735-requests-for-hi-res-support/ (with the requested support details) as this thread is only for confirmation of those devices that are working correctly and request portions might get missed. Thanks. Andre
  17. Please could you add the details of your device to the requests list, http://forum.powerampapp.com/index.php?/topic/8735-requests-for-hi-res-support/ . Thanks. Andre
  18. The LG V20 is not yet supported in the test release. I assume it will be by the time the product gets to a release build though. Andre
  19. Unfortunately running an alpha-test app on a beta-test OS as your main daily-use device is quite likely to end in tears. Hopefully once both get to official release status things will be more reliable. Andre
  20. If a given high-rez DAC is supported (and the LG V10 should allow high-rez output) go into Poweramp Settings > Audio > Output > High Rez Output (Experimental) and enable the entry for Wired Headset/AUX. You can use the adjacent Settings icon to adjust the detailed options for that specific output mode once you have activated it. If you don't see the High Rez Output (Experimental) option at all, you cannot use this feature on your device as yet. Andre
  21. See http://support.powerampapp.com/knowledgebase/articles/324284-restore-Poweramp-purchase. Otherwise, please email Poweramp.maxmpz@gmail.com with your details. Andre
  22. If it's going to work, the settings will be in Settings > Audio > Output, where you can change the output modes for various different devices (wired headset, USB DAC, etc). Look for the Hi-Rez Output (Experimental) setting. Andre
