Add option to append songs to the top of a playlist instead of the bottom.

The main reason for this is so that the most recent songs play first, towards the older songs. Without this feature I have to constantly resort by date add and reverse.

You can add a Playlist to a Playlist, so:

Start a new Playlist and put in the new songs. Add the old Playlist to the new Playlist. Save the new Playlist.

You can rename a Playlist by long pressing on the name.

This seems like a workaround rather than a permanent solution.

You can also move songs up and down within a playlist to change the playback order, although that can get unwieldy when managing larger lists. But you're right that the normal 'add' logic is to add a new item to the end of an existing list.

I agree to this feature request.

When you add a new song about everyday in your favorite playlist, it is very annoying to drag it to the top of  a large playlist.

I want to listen my new songs first when I start my favorite playlist.

I used to be able to drag the song from bottom to top but now that option is gone. I am afraid to update as the license problem always happens. Any ideas?? Why is this app 4$ with all the troubles it causes?? I listen while I drive & am out of range a lot. It has stopped on me so many times!! Power amp, get it together!!

My Playlist Manager, Creator on Google Play has, apart from offering lots of functionality, an option to move tracks to the top of the playlist. Select the tracks and click!. Although it creates native android playlists, my app integrates Poweramp tags. The m3u export function makes any playlist available to Poweramp. It is all explained on my website.
