Change volume increments.

Hi there, does anyone know how to change the volume increments on Poweramp?

I find the increments between each volume change to be huge. Mobo player, which I use for video has very fine increments of 1 step per button press.

example:

Poweramp scale |__|__|__|__|__|__|__|__|__|__|

Mobo scale |_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|

Perhaps this could be considered a feature request, but after searching, I haven't seen any other topics relating to this.

I'm using an Xperia Play, rooted stock firmware, 2.3.4, R800i, Poweramp.

/uncheck direct volume control

Hi demonolithic.

It is checked, so I'll try this. I'm not sure this changes the increments though and I still find the steps in volume to be larger than I'd prefer. I also have a Cowon J3 which uses a similar volume scale to Mobo.

Thanks for the reply, I'll see if it's an improvement later when I can play the device at louder volumes.

It will work but it will drop your volume level down quite a bit which made me put the check back.

I did notice the volume drop after I unchecked the box, which is a bit annoying since I generally have my music loud.

To be honest, the drop in volume and audio quality is not worth turning Direct Volume Control off for.

Does any one know how to change the volume increment scale itself, which Poweramp file has this setting?
