Blaze Emerson
Is it possible that you can add Reverb on Poweramp Equalizer plus DSP correction for speakers from noaudiophile, just like you did for AutoEQ. Thanks and more power.
maxmp
@Blaze Emerson thanks for the request. As Poweramp Equalizer uses the audioengine built-in into Android and bundled with the firmware, unfortunately Reverb effect just doesn't work on recent Androids - it was never updated and produces just very slight to no effect. This is why it's disabled in Equalizer.
Blaze Emerson
@maxmp thanks for updating... but the reverb for Poweramp music player still working.
Solution andrewilley Posted May 8 Solution Share Posted May 8 As Max said, the stand-alone EQ app works by modifying an already-existing Android audio stream, controlling various tools provided within Android. It does not process the audio directly itself, but more instructs how it should be processed. And Android's Reverb features are not very good. In contrast, the Music Player app is entirely self-contained and all of the audio processing is done by code within the app. Andre
Blaze Emerson
@andrewilley Thanks for explaining, if you can add the dsp correction of certain speakers like on AutoEq from noaudiophile.com on future updates.
