Reset all audio settings to default?

Is this possible from within the app, or is an uninstall/reinstall needed? Just had PA for so long over several phones/many many Android versions that a 'start from scratch' is needed ......

Easiest way (without a complete reinstall) to wipe PA's settings would be to delete its App Data via your Android device's Settings menu.

You'd have to go into all sub-menus found in Settings->Audio->(Sub-Menu).

At the bottom of each is a Restore Defaults button.

Wiping app data probably works too

That was my first thought but ...... I have 'clear cache' and 'manage storage' - the latter takes me to PA settings to 'manage space'. Which doesn't seem to do the same thing ... 

 

Oh, and I asked because I didn't want to go into each sub-menu to reset. Just reset the lot ..... :-)

Probably easier to uninstall and reinstall then. That Manage Storage option is new, and that's where it would normally be possible to Clear Data.

Hi, you can reset equalizer to defaults settings in:

Configuration/Audio/Equalizer/Restore equalizer settings

 

Or something like that, I have the spanish version.

@fermallorca Just press the Reset button in the Equalizer page. Or long-press on it to also reset the master presets back to their original settings too.

@andrewilley I tried that but all the equalizers settings goes to a flat line

@fermallorca Well the default setting is flat, yes. But if you look at one of the other presets - Pop, Rock, Soft Bass, etc - they should be returned to their original startup values.
