Morio Wada
Hi! I'm wondering what the frequency knob in the compressor page does to the played back audio. Is it a high pass filter for the compressor detector or anything else? Because it seems to me like it boosts a certain frequency that's set on the knob, but not sure what it's actually doing. Can anyone help me figure it out? Any response is appreciated! Quote Translate Revert translation? Solution maxmp Posted May 15, 2022 Solution Share Posted May 15, 2022 @Morio Wada The compressor is a multiband compressor/expander. The frequency knob defines the dividing frequency between low and high bands of the compressor. This allows compressing/expanding lows and highs separately, for example, basses can be specifically compressed. Thanks! Quote Translate Revert translation?
