Scrumplex
I was wondering, why no site is using https by default and why there is no trusted ssl certificate. Nowadays it is very easy, to setup an SSL certificate for free, by using Let's Encrypt. Not using any kind of encryption for a website with login (forum) is just dumb, as there is no cost in securing the website.
andrewilley
I tend to agree, I've recently added SSL to my own website as sending login emails and passwords by plain text is not only a bad idea, but I'm pretty sure it contravenes GDPR guidelines for any European./UK visitors. I hadn't noticed that it wasn't provided here or by InVision until you mentioned it. I'll raise the point with Max though, as it's not something I have any direct control over. maxmp
Forum is hosted by 3rd party company (Invision), but we'll try to add SSL on forums anyway. Thanks!
