Awesome stuff, please consider using the VLevel dsp algorithm which is available for Foobar2000, source should be available at Github.

For those who don't know it: This way you can listen to music with lots of dynamics (usually classical music) in more noisy environments. It controls volume (eg pulls up quiet parts) in a reasonable manner. I apply it to all my classical music audio for car.

This would be my most hoped for feature. Like you say, it would make listening to classical music in noisier environments actually enjoyable.

Until then, if you use fb2k, always do a second encode, for all my classical stuff I've got a subfolder "VLevel", I use that one, depending on the situation.

What do you mean by this? Sorry for the ignorance. I've already replaygain tagged everything, but what do you mean by a second encode and vlevel? Thanks 🙏
