Lvth
Hello, Parametric equalizer newbie here. When i search for my headphones using the equalizer portion on Poweramp, i cant find it (sony wf-1000xm5) but i can find it on autoeq.app , when I choose the format to be Poweramp equalizer it throws out values that i dont know where to put on the equalizer. However, I can download it and import it to wavelet, but i want to try the parametric feature within the Poweramp app. Help is appreciated.. andrewilley
Looks like that headset has only recently been added to the master AutoEq database, so won't be listed in Poweramp until the next updated build. https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/Rtings/in-ear/Sony WF-1000XM5 In the meantime, you can save the relevant setting directly from the AutoEq Web page as a text file, and import that into PA as a new preset. This should be the contents of the text file: Preamp: -5.3 dB Filter 1: ON LSC Fc 105 Hz Gain 2.4 dB Q 0.70 Filter 2: ON PK Fc 169 Hz Gain -3.7 dB Q 0.44 Filter 3: ON PK Fc 865 Hz Gain 2.8 dB Q 0.59 Filter 4: ON PK Fc 3052 Hz Gain 1.6 dB Q 2.39 Filter 5: ON PK Fc 1679 Hz Gain -1.5 dB Q 1.52 Filter 6: ON HSC Fc 10000 Hz Gain 5.3 dB Q 0.70 Filter 7: ON PK Fc 9726 Hz Gain -2.2 dB Q 4.42 Filter 8: ON PK Fc 6732 Hz Gain -2.9 dB Q 5.85 Filter 9: ON PK Fc 7839 Hz Gain 1.5 dB Q 5.99 Filter 10: ON PK Fc 5367 Hz Gain 1.1 dB Q 5.73 Andre Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/27284-how-to-apply-equalizer-settings-from-autoeqapp/#findComment-126028 Share on other sites

andrewilley
@Lvth I've never used the AutoEQ app, just the master website. I assumed they both used the same source data though. I guess the app might be hard-coded with each new release, like Poweramp is, rather than reading the online database live? maxmp
@Lvth if there is AutoEq update, it's always pushed into the next Poweramp build. It's also possible to import the AutoEq project directly via Settings / Audio / Equalizer / Import AutoEq Presets, or you can just import single (txt) preset - open it via any file manager in Poweramp or import via presets lists / long press any preset / Import.
