Output Bitrate

Is there any way to verify the digital output of this app. Non of my dacs show a bitrate change

'Audio Info' should show you the whole audio path from source to output. You can get it from the Settings=>Audio menu, or long-press on the metadata info line at the bottom of the Player Screen.

This sounds like you are asking for something similar to what has been referred to loosely as a “Bit Perfect” mode. Poweramp currently doesn’t have an option to follow the source frequency of the files. Even in Hi-res mode, PA will either automatically select the highest rate that the DAC reports it can manage, or you can manually choose one. But all tracks will be up or down sampled to that frequency. So no change to the sample rate would be detected by the DAC.

There have been many feature requests to add support for this concept, but it has not been implemented yet.
