whiskeysix
I'm scraping "this is" playlists from spotify for each artist in my library (ordered in the structure /Artist/Album/Trackname.flac) - these are working great from the "playlists" section, however when using "Folders Heirarchy" view, these are not displaying. Is it possible to have a flag added to show .m3u (or other playlist filetypes) from the folder hierarchy section?
andrewilley
So are you saying that you'd like playlist files (such as M3U, etc) to behave a bit like CUE files, and generate a nested 'pseudo-folder' within the current folder view? So clicking on such entries within the Folders or Folders Hierarchy categories would open the playlist's songs view? That does sound like a potentially useful option if you have you own favourites playlist saved within (for example) each artist's folder. whiskeysix
I think exactly that (apologies, I have no experience with .cue files). I think it would be best hidden behind a flag though - not all users may want this! If i'm honest, given the sheer amount of features in Poweramp, I'm surprised it doesn't already exist! andrewilley
Yes, if implemented I'm sure it would be an optional feature. Makes more sense with Relative Path Playlists, but could apply to anything I guess. I put all my own playlists in a Playlists folder for ease of management, but I can see why it might be nice to have per-artist favourite lists in their own folder hierarchy.
