zorgulus
Is it possible to use my ibasso dc05 to decode the Flac signal in Poweramp? I have the impression that my Ibasso DC05 only serves to amplify the sound.
MotleyG
The DC05 is just an external DAC, connected to most devices by USB-C. The FLAC files are managed by Poweramp, and the output is then sent to the device typically as a PCM signal. This is no different than any other audio like m4a or mp3. except is you are using DSD, and that can be handled direct if your device handles it. andrewilley
Poweramp will decode the FLAC file to uncompressed stereo for internal processing. Then the resulting audio stream can be sent out to whatever output device you choose, including an external USB DAC. Andre
