rafaelbarbi
How to start the app and continue the music at the same point where it stopped?
andrewilley
When you return to Poweramp, it will remember the current song and position. Just press the Play button to continue where you left off. Andre
rafaelbarbi
On my device it returns the song from the beginning.
andrewilley
@rafaelbarbi Then your device is not saving its status correctly when you finish a listening session. As long as you don't do something rash like force-closing Poweramp, but just exit using the normal Back or Home buttons, it should store the last-played position for next time - even after a normal device reboot. This is a regular phone isn't it? Not for example a car head-unit that can have the power abruptly cut when you turn off the ignition. If it was an aftermarket unit, check to make sure the accessory wire turns off, but the battery or clock wire always has power, even with the key off. This will help to make sure the unit does a proper shut down. But there is no guarantee, sometimes these units just don't have a well designed shutdown intent. You can try the manufacturer to see if they have an updated firmware fix.
