probably a setting for bluetooth headphones that paused the song was the culprit. The radio has an audio optimization that kicks in, causing the line to disconnect for a second, causing the pausing.

it's definately the kicking in of viper4androd that causes the player to stop. With the kicking in of viper, the audiochannel is cut off for a second to re-route the audio, so 9.39 thinks it has to pause the song. Could you guys make an option to disable the pausing?

grtz

If the audio output is being disabled by some other app, PA would react in the same way that it would if (for example) a Bluetooth output device was turned off, it would pause rather than continuing to player music into nowhere. Try enabling the Resume on Bluetooth option in PA Settings=>Headset/Bluetooth and see if that helps.

So to clarify, in PA build 933 there are no issues with music stopping, whereas with 939 something (which seems to be linked to Viper4Android's radio optimisation feature) is causing playback to pause after a few minutes. And there is nothing in PA's Last Processed Commands log.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, PA Settings=>Headset/Bluetooth=>Last Processed Commands. Clear it as you start playback, and then see if there's anything new in there after the pause.

i looked at log on version 9.33, and there's a lot of media button presses, and before that resume on resume application. Even with 9.33 i have pauses, think it's the wired remote causing the pausing instead of the Poweramp app.

Isn't the log file supposed to be a file that you can upload here?

In the meanwhile i kinda disabled all pause settings from phone calls.

It is. Just copy and paste the log text into a comment here - ideally clear the log as soon as playback commences, and mention the exact timecode when the erroneous pause occurs. Or you can save it as a file and share that, but pasting is easier. Both options are in the three-dots menu on the Last Processed Commands screen anyway.

with Poweramp before other apps enabled, Poweramp stays active, but still pauses. Then another app is on the screen. When i then again get the Poweramp on the screen, it continuous to play again.
